LIBERALISM IS CONTROL-ISM

Liberals want big government, oodles of laws and regulations to control how we shop, travel and eat. Liberal progressive have an Orwellian desire to control on our media and social networks, in order to indoctrinate the masses on liberal ideology in order to control thought, culture and eventually raze capitalism so we all become slaves of the state.

Their cult-like belief in a socialist utopia is born out of 3 groups of agitators pushing America toward its Roman downfall. One, are the what I will call the Progressive-cultists followers. These are the true believing simpletons willing to parade for the cause that have been indoctrinated from grade school. Their shallow thinking leads them to expect their lives will be happy and complete, if America adopts socialism, rids itself of Christianity and practices the religion of environmentalism. These people are naive, ambitionless and seek to blame society for their failure to find success in more conventional ways. Some wake up and grow up and out of their moronic viewpoint, while others stubbornly refuse to accept logic into their lives.

The second group are the power-cultists, these are politicians, corporations and all those that seek to benefit from controlling society. They and only they will be powerful in a socialistic world, where they will make the decisions for the masses and be able to keep the goodies for themselves. 

The last group we can call the expedient-cultists. They don't care about the culture, or the utopia but rather their interest is in being able to selfishly game a new system. Be on the ground floor of a new money market, a new Wall Street if you will, so as to enrich their portfolios, or to have the government bail out their businesses. Their interests are purely self-serving and greedy. They know that when old systems are over-regulated, banned or phased out they can invest in the new pretty toy on the block.

George Soros would belong to the expedient-cultists, while Pelosi and Schumer are aligned with the power-cultists and liberal university students would be in the Progressive-cultists group.

All three progressive pot stirrers have the same goal, marginalize our Constitution, change people's buying habits and control citizen's life from birth to death.

Socialism centralizes government, while a Free Market system makes government an outside arbitrator that sets equal rules on the playing field. What America is today is neither socialism nor a Free Market, instead we have termed it a mixed market. Basically, it is a half breed, a mongrel between socialism and capitalism, in which the government has been handed extraordinary power over people's lives.  

Liberals and Progressives want to push our mixed markets into socialism, and some corporations support that idea as long as government doesn't micro-manage their business, all because they enjoy the loan guarantees and bailouts that the federal government offers, otherwise known as corporate welfare.

Small business however are hurt by socialism and mixed markets because they are too small to bail out and government props up their big business competitor, never allowing a fair fight in the marketplace.  When the government steps in to bail out big failing business they save jobs but don't allow small business to grow. If there is never a void left by a large failing business, then small business expansion, entrepreneurial start-ups and competitive innovations suffer. In a Free Market system a bust from one business, is a boom for another. Thus voids are always temporary and normal in the economy that is suppose to fluctuate with ebb and flow.

Our government has  mixed our market by using a form of socialism using counter protective tinkering with regulation, bailouts, and government promoted market capitalization for things like green energy and alternative fuel subsidies. In putting its thumb on the economic scale it has maintained the economy in theory, but has damaged wages, innovation, consumer options, prices and most importantly job creation in America. 

Liberals claim that all the immigrants that come to the United States just want to start their entrepreneurial dreams, however control freak liberals have ruined that dream. These are the same people that support multiple safety and environmental regulations, class action law suits, operation licenses and zoning requirements, just to wash customers hair. The immigrants that came to America at the turn of the 20th century, had skills and worked for cash out of their homes until their cliental became lucrative enough to open a salon on main street. Given today's rules imposed by liberals, the stairway to being a successful immigrant is almost shuttered completely.

It was capitalism or the free market, that allowed our great grandparents the opportunity to rise above the poverty they left from the old country, to the Middle Class life they enjoyed in America. Today's mixed market requires the immigrant to break the law in order to achieve their American dream, and if we were to adopt full socialism, the dream would die out completely.

Socialism thwarts entrepreneurial markets in many ways:

 One, by propping up big business when it fails and not allowing competition to advantage failure.

Two, by over regulations by federal and state laws that make the start up costs for small business financially difficult, let alone, littered with liability under our sue happy society. 

Three, by government fiat, not the consumer, deciding suitable products such by CAFE (Corporate Average Fuel Economy) standards, what new cars will be made, making the government not the open market the driver of what products are deemed safe and preferred. 

Four,  by allowing government corruption of our legislative process in which lobbyists of industry end up writing the legislation that governs them, as in the Affordable Care Act, written by big Insurance companies to benefit their interests over smaller carriers.

Five, by keeping large corporations solvent and negating the organic nature of boom and bust, creating work security at the expense of worker advancement. When there is large scale unemployment people assume the news is all horrible, but the reality is, that many of those temporarily unemployed, find more rewarding and lucrative careers, jobs  and small business ventures that they might not have pursued, if not being laid off. 

Six, invariably an oligarchy forms, in which it becomes apparent that our Congress no longer has the stomach or the political strength to fine, regulate or control the titans of big business. The Lobbyists hold government's campaign purse strings and threaten to pull donations if their demands are not met, and all of us become enslaved as a corporate soldier, with little power. 

Seven, government can do certain things to induce production if and when there is a supply shortage, caused by drought or blight in a free market, by enticing millions of small businesses to pick up the slack. However, in socialism the oligarchy will quickly savage the small business markets first, in their quest to own the consumer street. That means government no longer has any leverage against a monolithic oligarchy and therefore can't help people in a wide scale supply shortage. "All your eggs in one basket" is another negative characteristic of socialism.

There are many more discouraging demons to the idea of socialism, greed, favoritism and dispensable victims are made worse by a system that claims to seek parity. Equal is great with shared wealth and equally miserable in shared misery.

But liberals want power, control and equality, like a father punishing his children equally even though their offense, age and awareness varies greatly, they all received the same back of the hand.

Liberals should understand that free market conservatives want equal opportunity, not equal outcomes as in socialism. The father in a conservative home would make the rules equal for all his children and yet the (outcome) punishment, would be based on the offense, age and awareness, some would be punished, some would be admonished and some would be immediately forgiven.   

The control freaks of the left need to wake up and realize that socialism is an enslaving nightmare, while Free enterprise (capitalism) is why all those illegal aliens are trying to cross the border. They are running from dysfunctional economic systems, like socialism.

BAD BUSINESS POLITICS

We once lived in a time when selling products and services was a symbiotic relationship between buyer and seller, however, today with the inclusion of both politics and "surveillance capitalism", that mutually beneficial balance, has been disrupted and corrupted.  

Businesses today want to voice a political opinion and thereby alienate a large portion of the consumer base in order to appease another consumer base, but that represents a complete nativity of politics. 

Politics is called a dirty business for a reason. Politics is messy because there isn't a one size fits all, issue container, to hold the various and varying views of an electorate. Moreover, people hold grudges against those that hold views that they perceive as divisive, say perhaps the devolvement of the 1st and or second amendment of the Bill of Rights?

Businesses that employ "surveillance capitalism" which is the monitoring and gathering of marketing information on consumers, have already blurred the privacy rights of consumers by making the simple act of purchasing a product, a license for business to spy, collect, and sell our buying habits as a commodity. 

The oligarchy has reached well beyond our 4th amendment rights as government seeking knowledge on a person, already has an avenue of access through the volume of business data collected and preserved without a need for a warrant. Meanwhile Congress does what it does best, when it comes to protecting the rights of the people, nothing. That's right nothing, because not only is the donor bribery between lobbyist and our representatives the string that makes the doll walk and talk, it is also the campaign cash that silences those in charge of preserving our constitutional protections.

So when some businesses want to publically lecture, and or admonish with prejudice their paying customers, Americans are I assume, suppose to lay down and buy it? Boycott or accept it? But what if they can't boycott because it is the only purchase option left, in their one horse community? Angry consumers might continue to buy what they need from your divisive business, but what your marketing data won't show is their begrudge factor, turning their impulse buying into impulse boycotting quickly and with long lived resentment.

Trying to win back customers is much harder than making an initial sale. Once you have angered potential business, it is difficult to walk it back and be forgiven. There is a reason for the motto "the customer is always right" and it has less to do with their argument, and all to do with winning them over, and keeping their loyalty to your business.

So why would you stir a stick into a mucky caustic puddle and alienate potential consumers? Well, I don't know, but I know, it is a very obtuse business move that never ends well. Which is why any astute business, never plays politics. Why corporations and businesses are breaking that rule today, and paying the price, shows either oblivion or arrogance. 

However, the fallout effect for businesses that poke the taxpayers in the eye, might even become worse than just a loss of sales, given that America has become a crony capitalistic environment, the retaliation by consumers could become devastating in the form of being denied federal and state subsidies.

Delta might be the first of these companies to see a quid pro quo retaliatory reaction to their dropping of NRA discounts by way of seeing state bill (HB 821)  to suspend the tax on jet fuel, getting defeated by the  Georgia legislature. That bill's passage would represent roughly 40 million dollars in tax breaks for Delta Airlines.

Some people complained that it would be unfair to penalize individual businesses and lead to government getting into the discrimination game when passing laws. Others, myself included, believe there is already discrimination in the crony capitalist game of lobby laws to serve particular industries. Small business and start-up companies should not have to compete for tax breaks and subsidies being handed out to large corporations. Corporate bail outs and crony capitalism is not the free market enterprise that built the nation, and it is high time we pull in the reins on corporate welfare.

Business is in politics, to lobby for and against taxes, regulations and laws that hinder their productivity, however, in the last century business has become so cozy with Congress, that more often than not, it is business lobbyists, that actually write the legislation that ends up becoming law (Obama-Care), showing  how entangled and corrupted our mixed market and government have become.

If Delta Airlines, Enterprise, Hertz, Wyndham Hotels, SmpliSafe, Metlife, TrueCar, United Airlines, Best Western, Avis, Chubb, Paramount RX, Starkey Hearing Technologies, Allied Van Lines, Symantec and the First National Bank of Omaha want to drop NRA discounts and alienate NRA consumers, than they should be prepared to not only lose sales but equally to lose their place in the crony capitalist handout line.

If these companies lobby state or federal governments for tax breaks, lower regulations or request loans from government, taxpayers should lobby their state and federal officials against any favorable advantage to these companies. Good for goose, good for gander. 

America needs to return to the promise that all entrepreneurs can depend on equal playing field of competition in the marketplace. So if the consumers don't give these businesses their hard earned money and equally lobby their representatives against legislation that favors these businesses, then it would be a genuine push back, to show the power of the people. 

Looking ahead, if business sues based on believing government is blacklisting them, then perhaps this would actually end up in court and maybe, just maybe, taxpayers might see an end to crony capitalism or at least an ebbing, in the bribery game between business and politicians.

Corporate welfare has polluted our free enterprise economic system, creating an elitist Congress that works only for donors and it needs to be thwarted both for our economic health and our constitutional security.

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME KNEEBALL? or KISS MY TAILGATE!

When fans learned that the Pentagon had to pay the National Football League to display the color guard and do jet flyovers for fans, cynicism toward the NFL began to percolate. Realizing that the owners of the NFL that made billions off of TV ads and fan ticket prices but did not wave the ad fee for our country's soldiers and instead pocketed taxpayer dollars to pretend to honor the country's military, rubbed fans fanny's wrong in all the stadiums.

 Brewing more sour taste in the football audience was the fact that NFL had tax exempt status until April of 2015, when bad press made it untenable for the NFL to argue to an angry football audience, that this status for their front office, was financially necessary, so they gave up their exemption.

Now once again the NFL has served up more acidic coffee to the ticket holders and TV audience by allowing highly paid players to sit, kneel and protest the celebratory playing of our National Anthem. 

The NFL will not allow players to wear a decals on their uniform to honor the police that were gunned down in Dallas, Texas, or players' moms that died from cancer, or wear colored shoes to bring awareness to mental illness, because the league argues it would become a slippery slope. Players uniforms would be billboards for so many causes, and perhaps causes the NFL disagrees with, that the NFL wants to retain control of the advertisement on uniforms. However, having a player kneel in protest during the singing of our National anthem, and then later allowing other players to trash the country's symbol of honor to those who died for our freedom, is perfectly fine for the NFL.

Once again hard working patriotic Americans are given the middle finger by elites running the show.     

It is now official, that the ever protesting-everything liberals, have infiltrated America's pastime, ruining the last bastion peace where the working class once reveled as an escape and respite from the politics of life and the world. The cultural anarchist have climbed the gate of America's castle of retreat from life's hardships, to incite a coliseum mentality to sporting events. Even when the fans boo and growl like lions, NFL players have decided that kneeling at the performance of our National Anthem is a valid venue for protest. Their back to the fans, their noses up in the air of arrogance, show that they could care less, if the fans thumbs are up or down. 

When we saw the flag being burned and lived through the many Supreme Court rulings that allowed our country's freedom symbol to be desecrated as a form of protest, we understood the left for what it is, an unpatriotic, ungrateful, spoiled, selfish, cultural pariah, seeking to divide and conquer traditional American values. The Social Justice Warrior, the Democrat Party, the progressives all otherwise  known as the left, have not stopped, nor will they ever stop, trying to destroy American values. Why?

The values of this country will always keep the left from attaining their primary goal. That goal is to change our nation from a constitutional based Republic, full of natural born rights, without governmental control, into a socialist state where government dictates everything.

 

The left uses the 1st Amendment like a machete, to carve a path of divisive destruction in our culture and then call for, of all things, unity, when Americans react in shock and anger. 

When the football players say stupid things, such that, by taking a knee at the singing of the National Anthem, they are not disrespecting the fallen soldiers, the military, the families of dead soldiers or bashing their country, the fans are not buying it. Fans know, that when you take a dump and try and call it a sweet smelling pile, then you are full of it. It is really quite simple, respect has always been a combination of action and words. You don't laugh at a funeral, you don't swear around young children, you don't fight in church, and you don't sit, kneel or otherwise ignore the National Anthem tribute being paid to our nation's long battle for freedom.

Respect is knowing that there is "a time and a place" for everything. Protesting the anthem at a sporting event satisfies neither. Athletes in America make millions, the National Football League makes billions, because Americans are free, because America has a free enterprise economic system, because millions of American soldiers have died to free us and keep us free.

American fans are outraged and also perplexed. How can the owners of the NFL teams choose to side with the leftist disrespectful protesters and not with the ticket paying fans who support their sport? Why is the NFL trashing their audience, patriotism and a duly elected President for another divisive social justice cause that provides nothing more than cultural upheaval? Why are the major and  local sportscasters left leaning, on TV and radio that support the protesting on the field? Does media even sports media, ever hire conservatives?  

The left has been using every wrong done in America as a sweeping indictment against our nation's character, trying to indoctrinate us into feeling shame rather than pride in our country. That in and of itself, is racists isn't it? When you paint everyone as responsible when only a few are perpetrators. Isn't the argument of the left that racism is profiling and making broad generalizations of people based on a few wrongdoers? How is the country's flag and Anthem trashed, because of a small percentage of ignorant idiots, (which by the way, any society must always suffer fools) is used as a protest stage? Yet, this is the hypocritical logic of the left, America has some injustice, so all of America is unjust. Generalize much?

Worse these fools with a TV camera (ESPN) and a microphone, along with corporate board rooms accept the left's convoluted facts and give these cultural anarchists thugs, the airtime and the stage, to bash our patriotism, trash our elections and preach their zombie hypocrisy. You can't fix anything by demonizing everything, including your tools. But the left is not seeking to love the sinner and hate the sin, but rather to make all of us hated sinners.  

Black Lives Matter is sloganeering that provides zero solutions, and in fact, has generated more racism, and more victimhood mentality, that has become a thug group against Trump supporters.  The left wants to convince people that their causes are justified but after the drama of their protests, nothing gets better, indeed it gets worse. If the cause of BLM were legitimate, if, they were really trying to rid the police force of criminally racists killers, then they would have adopted an "All lives matter" mantra and brought the whole country together to condemn police militancy and deadly brutality.

 Instead, they cheer when cops are killed, and jeer at those that support police. Perhaps they missed the adage "If you are not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem."

But BLM is just another aimless protest by the left, like Occupy Wall Street, that isn't interested in solutions because their real aim, as stated earlier, is to hack away at America's traditional values and turn neighbor against until Americans keel to the notion of needed a fundamental fix to a now dysfunctional culture. And the cure to the dysfunctional culture they created is, big socialist government.

So with the political antics going on in our sports arenas around the country, one has to ask, where is there a political free zone in America today? Political Correctness is rampant. Liberal militancy is as vibrant as ever on campus. Public Schools are busy with a curriculum of liberal indoctrination of youth. Media expounds the evils of Trump voters daily. And wearing a hat that has the anachronism MAGA will get you accused of being a racist, homophobe, bigoted and deplorable citizen.  

 So, we grab a beer and sit down to watch a ballgame, assuming that politics is far, far afield from our view, and what do we see? Highly paid grown men kneeling during the symbolic singing of our country's anthem, before they play a game. A game that they can play because many America men and women died for their right to play. A game that owes its money making ability to the patriotic fans it snubs, that pay their salaries by buying those expensive game tickets. A game that brings leftist indoctrination into our living rooms, by proclaiming that America stinks, because some people are racists. A game that use to be about toughness but now is about how weak, thoughtless, gutless and insensitive to God, Country, Mom and apple pie can cowards become. 

The NFL should be on their knees, praying, that the fans will forgive their complete unconscionable slap to their country's heroes, and their hypocritical capitulation to un-American leftist agitators, while pink shoe tributes to player's dead mothers is banned.  

Changes should be made to the lyrics of the jingle Faith Hill made popular for NBC's Sunday night game, such as " We've been dreading (waiting) all day for Sunday night, the players are ready, to kick the fans in the belly, cause the NFL sucks bowing to P.C. Yeah!"

Or should Hank Williams Jr.  sing for some Monday night knee-ball, "C'mon on get ready, I mean get ready! Cuz all my (ratty) rowdy (leftist) friends are here for Monday night." Yeah, get ready, cuz all my sissy teams got punked by PC!
