WITH SIX YOU GET BURRITOS

Doris Day's last film in 1968 was "With Six You Get Eggroll". It was a romantic comedy about the difficulty of blending families when widowers (or divorced) couples re-marry. When the children and relatives line up against a step-mother and step-father there is no pleasing either side and compromise short of calling off the romance is impossible.

At the end of the movie, all ultimately learn to not just accept the union but to soften their hearts and support the marriage. The disharmony that has been brewing over immigration is far less likely to have a fair and harmonious outcome. In fact the wedding is off! Americans are as hot as tamales and the Washington reform talk leaves a bitter sour cream  taste in their mouths.

There are six basic voices in the immigration debacle facing  our nation and its future. These are the Democrats, the Republicans, the Corporations, the farmers and small businesses, the minority liberal voters and the majority voters. Their positions on the immigration issues is as follows;

1)The progressive Democrats are seeking wholesale amnesty for illegal aliens expecting to sign up loyal voters for the future.

2)Meanwhile some members of the Republican Party worry that if they are not included in the citizenship give-away, they will lose all future elections. They have proposed a slow walk to amnesty for illegal aliens.

3)Corporations and high tech firms are not interested in amnesty but rather changing the H1B immigration laws. The claim is that American universities are not graduating high tech students with math and science degrees in sufficient numbers to fill the vacancies in their industries. Therefore they must import workers from countries such as India and China in order to fill their worker shortage.

4)Small businesses and farmers on the other hand are looking for cheap unskilled labor and are lobbying for guest worker programs. They want the law prohibiting them from hiring illegal aliens softened or removed.

5)Liberal voters don't like borders and are pushing for a dismantling of most all of our immigrations laws.

6)The majority of voters want our immigration laws enforced, the borders secured and illegal aliens deported. Americans want lawful immigrants that assimilate and swear allegiance to our country.

In order to resolve any problem, one must first correctly identify the source and cause of the problem. In the case of our immigration and border problem, there are two indisputable causes; lack of security and lack of deportation.

The reason lack of security and deportation are separate, is that, even if we were to build a wall around America rivaling the wall of China, not all illegal aliens enter the country via crossing the border. Many illegal aliens have been granted visas, and then they fail to leave once their legal right to remain in the country has elapsed.

Some states (California) give illegal aliens sanctuary while other states (Arizona) have been sued for trying to assist the federal government immigration duty to enforce the law.

The bottom line; border patrol and capture, deportation enforcement and criminal prosecution of those hiring or abetting illegal aliens has been undermined by federal and state authorities.

The next question to be rightly asked therefore is, how does changing the law or granting amnesty fix our broken immigration system? Americans know that they answer is simple; it doesn't. Laws not enforced are meaningless. And we have granted amnesty before and it only worsens the problem.

There are three main false assertions being used as arguments for the need to grant amnesty and change immigration laws.

The first argument being expressed is that there are too many to deport.  The contention being if you estimate that there are upwards of 11 million illegal aliens then it is logistically impossible to deport them all. Also, in deporting that many illegal aliens because of the misuse of the "Anchor Baby" determination of citizen by being born in America, then you would be breaking up families.

The second argument being used is that business and industry cannot fill both high end and low end tech jobs by hiring American citizens.

The third argument is that America's immigration laws are archaic and discriminatory.

Well let's take the last argument first about discrimination that is argued by multicultural liberal groups that want to make America an open border turn style for every human in the world regardless of their pedigree and loyalty.

One needs to ask these open border advocates if they leave the door wide open in their own apartment or house. Do they allow anyone off the street to waltz in and raid their refrigerator, sleep on their sheets and then claim squatters rights to half the property?  Or wipe out their families health by a contagious illness? We know the answer, and we know the radical idiocy of their open border ideas. Fail!

The second argument touted by business pushing the need to import our high skilled work force is equally illegitimate. The argument by corporations that our education system doesn't produce enough high tech workers does need to be solved. So why would they not actively recruit the freshman on college campuses to get their degrees in those disciplines rather than abandoning American youth for foreign nationals? Why do they support progressive policies and unions that have destroyed America's education? Fail!

The second argument made by small businesses that Americans will not apply and work at unskilled labor jobs is equally illegitimate. Supply and demand exists not just in consumerism but also in the labor market. The better the compensation and benefits the more attractive the jobs. If your business operating plan relies on cheap labor, low wages and no benefits and you are finding it hard to hire workers then you should either fold as a business or raise those wages to attract workers. Expecting the government to grant you slave laborers is an affront to free markets. Fail!

Finally the logistical impossibility of deportation argument that pretends a manhunt brigade is needed to do the job along with the compassionate argument against breaking up families needs debunking.
If one makes this specious  argument then the logical question becomes; why do we have any laws at all. In fact, since we can't stop criminal activity on our streets so why not argue for the abolishment of all criminal laws, release all prisoners and disband our police force?

When does our criminal justice department decide not to prosecute criminal conduct because the perpetrator is a single mother or single father with children to raise and support? Sending a single parent to prison for life certainly breaks up the family and leaves children in some cases, wards of the state. We don't as a society suggest that as long as you are a breadwinning single parent you have amnesty from prosecution, do we? Fail again!

Along with E-Verify we should be requiring hospitals, social services police officers, landlords, employers and any other individuals to report illegal aliens or face stiff fines and possible criminal charges in the quest for deportation tracking. We could create a self-deportation campaign (2-3 years) where a public service message tells people to report themselves to authorities and have their deportment transportation costs paid. The benefit being that before that 3 year period expires they would not be placed on a permanent list banning them from future entry. Once the grace period is over then people would be warned that they would be deported with prejudice, meaning they would lose the opportunity to ever come back to America's front door.

The truth is that America has the right to sovereignty just as individuals have the right to deny trespass on their properties. We have the right and the obligation to keep citizens safe from seditious cultures, pandemic illnesses, criminal importation and proportioned absorption per our economic situation.

No other country in the world is the haven for the world, and no other country in the world can offer the exceptional opportunities that American citizenship grants to those lawfully seeking to become a loyal assimilated new American immigrant.

The talk of amnesty by the left, the Democrat Party and the sell-outs in the Republican party are not just wrong, they are cynically immoral for choosing illegal aliens over law abiding legal immigrants.
The big and small business lobbyists are wrong because they are seeking to solve America's high and low skilled labor market shortage by quick government fix rather than to invest in our American workforce.

The only group that holds the moral high ground is in fact the majority of Americans. The majority that wants our borders made secure. The majority that wants the government to do its job and deport illegal trespassers. The majority that is against amnesty. The majority that wants the rule of law to not be politicized by Washington bureaucrats. The majority that wants legal immigrants to be honored and respected and not feeling foolish that it would have been cheaper and easier to ignore our immigration laws.

Americans heard Obama say that the 2014 election was about his policies. Americans voted and spoke to those policies. The results were not fuzzy and or hard to discern. From his foreign policy, domestic regulations and amnesty open border dreams, Americans said NO, NO, NO and enough, enough and enough.

The American people know the difference between an eggroll, a burrito and Gruber-ville crap sandwich when it come to comprehensive immigration reform.

It is time for the newly elected Congress of 2014  to represent the majority voice when they take office in 2015. It is time for our representatives to represent citizens not special interests. It is time they adhere to their constitutional oaths and stop acting as though the immigration issue is complicated, it isn't. The only reason it has become convoluted is because of political expediency, by both political parties.

OPEN NOTE TO CONGRESS

Censure the President and then pass a law nullifying the President's immigration policy. It is the only proper and honorable way to restore a lawful adherence to our constitutional Republic and the rule of law.

Our Constitution and the separation of powers that delegates the Congress to represent the people and legislate, while the executive branch is charged with the duty to ensure laws are followed, has been turned aside, and arrogantly ignored by Obama.

Impeachment, lawsuits,  withholding government funding are all slow remedies and thereby a denial of justice for the citizens of this great nation. Americans deserve immediate repudiation of the President's lawless and unconstitutional action on immigration.

Therefore, starting in January with the swearing in of the new Congress, I urge you to both call for a vote to censure the President and pass a bill that nullifies his unlawful immigration plan. In this simple short Bill, make it clear that all agencies involved with immigration, INS, Border Patrol and DHS  should ignore Obama's unlawful edict or risk being prosecuted for unlawful action. We must immediately re-establish that Congress not President Obama writes law.

In our system precedent is a powerful enabler of both proper and improper legal direction. This unconstitutional act by the President needs to be condemned as a break of oath to our nation's basic principles as a Republic and a vote of "Censure" of this unlawful act for the historic record.

Andrew Jackson was censured in 1834 for overreach but it was expunged in 1837 by Democrats. John Tyler was reprimanded by the House of Representatives in 1842 for bait and switch practices with the veto power. In 1848, James Polk was reprimanded for not seeking Congressional approval for the Mexican war.

If ever Congress had a legitimate reason for censure and or impeachment of a sitting President operating outside the boundaries of his oath of office, this current lawless action by President Obama shows contempt for our Republic.

In the 2014 elections Americans voiced a clear choice against the President's policy direction for the country. We the People should not be ruled or dictated to by a POTUS that ignores his obligation to adhere to his oath, nor should we be subjected to a Congress that abdicates its duty to represent the people and our Constitution.

America is only as strong as our representatives act in loyal oath to our Constitutional Republic. We trust (?) and expect Congress to do their duty.

THE TELL-TALE HEARTLESS PARTY

The progressive Democrats and their Marxists leader have fooled, deceived, conned and lied to perpetrate one of the biggest hoaxes in American history on our Republic, the writing and passage of the ACA. But some of us knew that, long before MIT Professor Gruber explained with giddy arrogance to a room of snobbish socialists' believers, how deftly sneaky and sinister sly was the masterminded plan to fool the fools and or dup the dopes.

The key architect in both Romneycare and Obamacare was MIT professor Jonathan Gruber who was paid well by this administration to  devise a plan of healthcare deception and then work as a spokesman touting the bill's benefits. The media knew or should have known that professor Gruber was a paid consultant and not an independent analysts. The lack of full disclosure and transparency from Washington and the major media outlets to inform the public has never been more diabolically rigged, fixed and openly exposed, as unabashed propaganda.

Nancy Pelosi's infamous nonsensical statement on the Healthcare Law, "We have to pass the bill to know what's in it." is incredibly making more sense since Gruber exposed the Bill's legislative history. The law was a tortured use of language scripted to be unintelligible to thwart a clear understanding of its basic intent; socialized insurance.

What Nancy could not say was "You have to read the bill and point out specifically, where and what we are lying about, in regards to taxes, premium costs and any other objections to our healthcare takeover scam." She was as confident as Gruber that the countless  pages of tortured gobble-gook would never be understood, even if read with a James Bond spy kit.

What should not be lost in this explosive revelation of legislative corruption is how long this conspiratorial debacle has been allowed to remain secret, and how ineffective our system of checks and balances has become. The Supreme Court allowed this monstrosity of legal double speak, to pass constitutional scrutiny while the watchdog Press was on its back getting its belly rubbed.

Another important question  to consider is, when Jonathan Gruber talks about fooling the "stupid Americans", one wonders to whom is he referring?

Certainly not conservatives and independents that attended Town Hall meeting across the country protesting the passage of the law.

Certainly not the Republican Party that did not cast a single vote for the law.

Certainly not moderate Democrats in Massachusetts that elected Scott Brown to be the deciding single vote in the Senate to defeat the law, which was negated by Nancy's Pelosi's Reconciliation loophole treachery.

So exactly, who was fooled?

It would appear that the Democrats were making fools of some of their own party members along with their own loyal left wing base such as unions and the Hollywood crowd. So if we understand this correctly, the progressive Democrats lied, schemed and snickered with utter disrespect behind the backs of people  that handed them donations, cheered at their speeches, voted for their re-elections and believed that "Hope and Change" was real and by going "Forward" they would be able to keep their healthcare plans and doctors.

And the deception worked incredible well, until Jonathan Gruber filled with the schoolboy excitement of deceiving the fearsome principle had to brag. Now the President and Democrats leaders Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are trying to pretend they don't know what a Gruber is, as they equally try to paint him as a small, crazy, and tangentially involved ACA aide, versus architect.

As Homicide Hunter Detective Joe Kenda would say "Well my, my, my now I'm interested."

The President and the Democrat Party have been exposed as a progressive gang of thugs that perpetrated fraud on the taxpayer. From day one Obamacare was a conspiratorial plan.

These progressive zealots hijacked Congress, tricked the Supreme Court, denied a full congressional vote and vetting of their scheme all because they have the collusion of a corrupt media that is also filled with progressives.

Their deceptive power, like a cult was dependent on all their progressive followers staying loyal, being discreet and only whispering the truth in the back rooms of private settings. But one of their devout  members and a rising mastermind of deception, has a vanity vice.

Similar to the narrating character in Poe's The Tell-Tale Heart, Jonathan Gruber exposes the Democrats and the administration's ghastly deeds to pass Obamacare  by insisting that their crooked logic and brilliant subterfuge was necessary and righteous.  Gruber spoke with as much relish for his role in the ACA conspiracy as the narrator in Poe's short story praised his own diabolical murder.

"Now this is the point. You fancy me mad. Madmen know nothing. But you should have seen me. You should have seen how wisely I proceeded--with what caution--with what foresight--with what dissimulation I went to work!"

We, the public, are the old man with a vulture's eye that was stuffed under the floorboards.

Gruber is a gift of revelation, divulging the secret mindset of the current progressive Democrat political Party that abhors our Constitution, detests moderates and conservatives and betrays its own base for outcomes. The ideologically corrupt media intends to bury their treachery by silence and hope the public's memories will fade before the next election. But then you would have to be a "stupid" voter to ever trust the Democrat cult party. They stupidly assume that their fraud of 2012,negates the results of 2010 and 2014.

Yet, thump, thump, pound, pound, beat, beat, louder, louder, do you hear that?

That is the sound of patriot's hearts beating to the ears of an insane Washington tyranny.

Pump, pump, boom, boom, bang, bang, louder, louder, do you not hear that?

Yes, we are alive and eager to emerge from the woodwork.
We are alert, and with our eagle's eyes locked down on the progressive prey, we will wait, perhaps impatiently, but wait, until we can swoop down again in 2016.

WAVE, TSUNAMI OR A POWER WASH SHELLACKING?

The elections are over and the Democrats lost even more political ground than was predicted especially in the Governor's mansions across the country. Yes, nationally the GOP won the Senate and picked up an additional 12 seats in the House of Representatives, which is impressive, however what makes this election a significant tide turning event, was that blue states turned red.

The voters have spoken clearly to both the Democrats and Obama and they have punctuated their polled view that the country was headed in the wrong direction, with the ballots cast in this election. This election was not about political money, party power, better candidates, or sloganeering, it was about leadership and direction. Specifically a lack of leadership by Obama and a distaste by voters for the Democrat agenda for the nation.

War on women was a joke because Americans are realizing that the real wars are with radical Islam and hostile foreign nations viewing America as a weak bystander rather than the super power she needs to project. War on women is a joke compared to the real financial strife that middle class families are experiencing under Obama and the Democrats heavily taxed and regulated economy. War on women is an insult to mothers all across America seeing their college educated kids, who played by all the rules, being underemployed and unable to fly confidently from the nest with the prospect of success.

Did the GOP win or did the Democrats lose? I think it is more than fair to state with empathic certainty that the liberal policies lost and the GOP was the benefactor of their progressive radical ideology being rejected by Americans. This was not an election for something, rather an election against everything both being done and not being done in Washington by elitists ideologues.

Americans may be fooled at times by mainstream media propaganda and slick political advertisement, promising them positive change, but once Washington politicians throw Americans under the bus as Democrats have done on immigration, Ebola and job creation, then their eyes openly glare, stare and scare away the vampires.

The GOP benefitted big this past Tuesday but it is time for Republicans to unite around a popular agenda for the country, and not just sit around waiting for 2016. They must focus on three main goals and force Obama and the Democrats in Congress to join them or be seen as obstructing the voice of the people.

First, the economy. The debt burden, the wasteful spending of government and the lack of good paying jobs is not going to change unless Republicans pass legislation that repeals high taxes and regulations, and allows the economy to expand. If Obama vetoes those bills and Democrats support those vetoes then Americans will clearly see that Democrats are against job creation.

Second, a travel ban on Ebola and bills that secure our border and expedite more deportations of illegal aliens. Again if Obama vetoes and Democrats support Obama's vetoes, then they will be the Party waging a war on citizens.

Third, defund as much as Obamacare as possible, pass individual, stand alone legislation on healthcare such as buying insurance across state lines, policy holders protected from being denied coverage and present a private sector driven plan, not another government program to reduce healthcare costs.

Until Obama leaves office, the 114 Congress should understand that by losing legislative battles with the President's veto pen, they will be gaining the opportunity to win the White House in 2016 and finally roll back the damage done to the country.

The Republican Governors must stop taking federal bribe money and equally start pushing back against Obama's Democrats in Washington and lead the way toward economic growth by cutting waste, standing up to public unions and prove free markets work.

Yes it was an election wave, Tsunami and power washing shellacking, Mr. President. While you might ignore WE THE PEOPLE and go play more golf, your Democrats in Congress are holding on to driftwood as they float in an angry electorate sea, and we will wait and see, if Democrats float right or go down with Obama's lame duck sinking ship.
