TIME TO PULL THE RUG OUT OF THE INVISIBLE CEILING

The United States debt is outrageous and unconscionable but is it real? Both political parties have contributed to its growth. Both political parties have used it as a backdrop in political drama to advocate their policies or to justify their capitulation to increased taxation of the people. Both political parties have just completely ignored the debt especially once they have tapped it for its crises de jour political capital.

Fiscal cliffs don’t disappear when you cut up one credit card but still use nine others. Debt crises don’t become obsolete just because the credit company extends your limit allowing you to dig a deeper fiscal hole. Financial security doesn’t result from cutting the rate of your projected reckless spending in the outlying years.

Yet Congress apparently wants us to believe that the debt is only a crisis when revenue flowing into the federal treasury is not enough to allow legislators to find new ways to waste it. Their talk about balanced budget amendments is just that, talk. Meanwhile American homes are equally debt bound.

Consider a woman married to a spend-a-holic husband who has put their family’s net worth into the red. Let us call them Mr. and Mrs. Smith. She has tried to curb her hubby’s irrational notion that a credit limit on credit cards means he can max them out and then apply for new cards and transfer the debt to cards with lower interest rates and earn them money. She can’t seem to find the right words to convince him that his running up of their debt is destroying their future financial stability.

He argues that America’s monetary policy is based on debt (correct). He argues that you can’t have a good credit rating or expect to secure a loan unless you incur a debt and show you have made payments on that debt (correct). He argues that in fact on the two major purchases necessary for American families, car payments and home mortgage, it is impossible for most Americans to avoid debt (correct). He argues that even short of declaring bankruptcy there are many debt companies that will negotiate down your debt with creditors allowing you to keep your assets while only paying a portion of what you owe (sadly correct). He argues that even in the worse case bankruptcy scenario they would be not only be free of debt but that between Social security, Medicare, Obamacare and a disability claim (such as PTDD or Post Traumatic Debt Disorder) based on the government allowing new made up emotional illnesses,  they will be fine (very sadly correct).  

As you can see, Mrs. Smith is dealing with upside-down thinking in an upside-down world. Loans and credit limits are viewed as assets while those that have paid for all their possessions with cash money are off the financial radar screen. The sad reality is that those that have been responsible with their money will eventually pay for the debt of all those irresponsible, the fact is we are all already paying. 

No one in Washington is using their bank accounts to fund federal programs. They are not using the money in their wallets to pay interest on the debt. They will not lose their assets if the treasury defaults and T-Bills become worthless paper. They don’t care because they will just stiff some creditors (taxpayers and government contractors) while ensuring banks and investment firms get bailed out.

Why do you think Congress bailed out Wall Street instead of Main Street? Yes, because these politicians’ portfolios were on the line and their biggest campaign donor money was on the line, it is just that simple.

We have been told by Washington that the debt is unsustainable for decades. We have been told that there is a looming crisis in which the government will default on paying out entitlement benefits. Has anyone realized yet who will bear the brunt of costs if the government can’t sustain its debts? 

Here is a hint; it won’t be those whose work entails walking to their mailboxes to pick up their government checks. It won’t be either the retired or the current politician. It won’t be the ultra rich for they will just follow their offshore accounts and become an island immigrant.

Yes, there are just two groups of American that will bear the costs; working men and women and the aged. The working men and women will be so highly taxed they will be enslaved and the aged, well get ready Grandma because it is the big government Democrats that will be pushing you over the cliff to an early grave as a way to save money.   

So if the American debt is real and is a real crisis, why has Congress raised the debt ceiling without any spending cuts? The simple answer is because they can. Just like the obtuse Mr. Smith that never opts to stop spending money he doesn’t have and instead is willing to stick his selfish debts on all consumers, politicians in Washington fear no responsibility.

All high rollers eventually lose and when they lose they lose big and crash hard. Americans are allowing this President and Congress to leverage Americans financial well being and it is time we pull the rug from these deadbeats. The debt is an enormous problem and is dragging down the asset wealth of all Americans not just the next generation that will be holding the hot potato. 

Don’t let any politician tell you the solution is increasing taxation or their code terms such as “increasing revenue”. Mrs. Smith knows what her husband does with her raises and it has only increased their debt. Washington has neither a ceiling nor a floor, we the people have put them in charge of our credit cards and they are being morally reckless.

American taxpayers must start pulling the rug from the elitist’s spenders in Washington and in your State Houses and demand real fiscal ceilings or all Americans will fall under the floorboards and into the permanent debt trap. This fiscal crisis is real serious and this administration is creating more debt not just by spending immorally but by killing the jobs that would help all Americans dig out of the hole.

We can run from the debt but we can’t hide. The election of 2014 is not just about Obamacare it is about the future of America from a monstrous government that will strangle us if left to the spend-a-holic left.  

THE KING HAS A PEN BUT THE PEOPLE RULE

There has been some chatter over the president’s recent brashly arrogant statement that he will use his “pen and phone” if Congress doesn’t jump on board with his legislative agenda. Not only is his statement disrespectful of our nation’s system of co-equal branches of government, it slaps “We the People” across the face dismissively.

The Democrats in the House and the Senate remain silent. Speechless to Obama’s expansion of executive actions and unconcerned over their President that dismisses representative government. The quiet collusion of the Democrat Party that so consistently talks about being the Party for the people, the minority and the working class American apparently thinks dictatorial rule is fine. The Party that falsely claims America is a democracy apparently has no problem with Obama acting like a demigod dictator.

Who from the Democrat Party has stood up to challenge the President’s unilaterally pen that implemented by executive order the Dream Act when Congress defeated the bill? Who in the Democrat Party has challenged the President’s authority to delay deadlines in the ACA law without congressional approval in the implementation of Obamacare? Who in the Democrat Party has stood up for the Constitution of the United States and demanded that Obama and their own colleagues in power abide by the laws of this nation? Doesn’t that tell you all you need to stop voting for this power hungry Party? 

The Democrat Party has accused Republicans and conservatives of having wars against, women, immigrants, environment, minorities, welfare and social security. Yet the truth is that the only real political war in this country is being done by the Democrats on our Constitution and our Bill of Rights.

Americans have been waiting impatiently for Congress (both parties) to stand up for the Constitution, stand up to executive tyranny, stand up for the American people and force the President to stand down from his imaginary imperial throne. The problem for the Republicans is that a court suit requires “standing” and not just by one political party but a bipartisan congressional lawsuit.

In law standing or “locus standi” is needed to bring a lawsuit and there are three requirement to standing;  direct injury by defendant to the plaintiff, clear path of cause and effect that leads to the defendant actions as culpable for plaintiff injury and lastly redressabilty. Redressabilty means that that a court ruling would have to have a compensating value for the injured plaintiff. 

Individual Representatives do not have standing to sue Obama but Congress as a whole body certainly does and the American people absolutely have standing. If Congress sued Obama claiming voter nullification by the Dream Act that was voted down by the people’s representatives in Congress, and then nullified by Obama’s executive order to institute it, it would meet the threshold. Yet even then can we trust the Supreme Court?

Obamacare should never have passed the courts constitutionality test and most American now believe  that the courts are just as politically vested in the outcomes of their decisions as with political party politics. Chief Justice John Roberts had no authority to redefine the word penalty in the Obama administrations legal briefs as a tax, yet that is what he did. I am not sure Americans trust our Supreme Court given how badly they let America’s Constitution down over Obamacare. Would the court dethrone Obama if there was a lawsuit to stop his executive overreach, or would they crown him and chide the American people that it is their fault they elected a king?  

  

When either party claims that there is little to be done to stop Obama’s tyranny, the American people don’t need to know law and legal terms to know that is a lie. Our system has at its basic core the rights of citizen’s voice and the duty of our representatives to express and enunciate that voice, but instead Congress (especially Democrats) have swallowed our tongues.

If Congress can’t legally compel this President to stop acting unilaterally to bypass the will of the people than why are our Representatives not standing on the front lawn of the White House in protest? Why are they not demanding that the liberal Press own up to the truth that this President has contempt for the American people and our Republic? Why are these so-called representatives of states in the union rolling over and playing dead?

Obama and the Democrats claim to be patriotic. They claim to care about their country. They claim that every vote should count and every American should have easy access to the polls, but why? Indeed why vote if it means you are voting to be dictated. Do the Democrats think that every political victory assigns them and their president a mandate of kingship rule?

Did you vote for Obama as emperor? Did you vote for Obama and agree with every thought and ideological policy that comes to his mind? Did you really think you could keep you doctor and your health insurance policy? Did you really think Obama and the Democrats care about what you want once they have your ballot counted? There is a reason for the term useful idiot. 

Americans are frustrated and the low polling numbers of Congress reflect the utter contempt they feel for a body that should be able to at least come together (Democrats and Republicans) to preserve the separation of powers and not allow the President to act lawless.

The President is desperately seeking to impose his socialism upon our nation ruining our economy in the process with his continued penchant for more and more spending at the taxpayer’s serf expense. His recent executive order to demand that all federal contractors pay their workers a new 10.10 dollar minimum wage is paid for by whom? The contractors will do what all businesses do, they will raise the price of the contract bid then send the bill to the government, and it will be paid by the taxpayers. Obama just took more money from the middle class private sector pocket and redistributed it to the government contract workers pockets by the stroke of his Marxist red pen. 

Americans did not suffer one abuse from the King but many and multiple usurpations and repeated injuries before we realized that petitions of redress were not stopping the tyranny of a free people. We beseeched the British Parliament but found them also “deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity” quoted from the Declaration of Independence. President Obama may have a pen, but We the People have always resisted being ruled, and if our Representatives don’t wake up and side with the people; well I think that maybe the sheeple will break out of their pens.

New Year, New Battle, New Fight, New Frontier

The time has come for a meeting of like-minded Americans to come together on the critical core political issues and leave the minor nuances of differences aside. The push back against Washington elitism and corruption called the Tea Party Movement has been successful but is under-performing compared to its potential.

The reasons for underachievement are many but two obstacles still stand in the path of the people’s success. First, the demonizing campaign by media, the DNC and factions in the RNC seeking to dissuade voters from associating with the Tea Party Movement has been influencing too many discouraged voters.  Calling patriotic Americans “Wacko” birds, purists, anarchists and racists is purposefully done to discourage the growth of an informed reform minded electorate. 

The second obstacle blocking the political reform progress has been a lack of cohesive unity by conservatives, libertarians and independents that agree on common core issues but continue to fracture their vote. Whether the mistake is voting out of selfish alliance to a single issue or ignorance of how Party holds power not the individual politician both locally and nationally.  

The first obstacle must be addresses by the individual American, show your independent pioneer spirit by refusing to be politically labeled or be cowed by name calling.  The Tea Party Movement has been a problematic issue because many Americans wrongly see it as a third party. It is not a party but rather an agitate movement to reform political corruption both nationally and locally. However, the power brokers in both parties have managed to demonize the Tea Party name and use the vanity weakness in people to cause fear of association and or apathy toward reform.

It matters little if the Tea Party was called the “Conservatarians” or the “Libervatives” or some other identifying tag, both entrenched established corrupt political parties would find a way to disparage reform. The Tea Party Movement is quite frankly, part of the traditional American electorate that seeks honorable representation, common sense policies, fiscal sanity and faithful adherence to our Constitution and American values. Don’t concern yourself with labels.

The Tea Party is not a secret club, replete with a special handshake and blood brother cutting rituals to prove loyalty. It is not an outlaw redoubt where political extremists plot mayhem. It is not a top down controlled organization that demands subservience of members. Rather, the Tea Party Movement is a town square gathering of Americans fed up with elected politicians that through either ignorance or arrogance seek to diminish our country’s core belief in individual freedom or a band of patriots.

Most importantly the Tea Party Movement is a self-reflective responsible assemblage of voters keenly aware that the electorate has been the enabler of political corruption. We the People elected these scamsters into office and we the electorate must be more savvy voters to ensure that we both rid government of these representative frauds and not be fooled by new faces faking and deceiving us. 

The liberal media and the national DNC and RNC have a vested interest in keeping their status quo. They embrace low information voters because they know an intelligent electorate will not tolerate their navel-gazing corruption. We need to stop focusing on a name, label or brand and instead sell the truth to voters.

Call yourself what you want but it simply comes down to two ideological choices, top-down big government bully-club control (Democrats) or free markets, limited government and individual rights as our Constitution intended. The Republican Party is filled with good legislators but unfortunately it also contains traitors. 

Reform requires a battle on two fronts, defeating the main threat to your freedoms the socialists Democrat Party in the general election and weed out their enabling cohorts in the Republican Party in the primary.

The fact is that most Americans agree on the core principles of freedom but do not know how to come together at the ballot box to produce an outcome that supports honorable representation and principled constitutional adherence. The biggest hurdle for reform is the lack of understanding that Party not individual politician holds the power.

The current Democrat Party contains few moderates and those that exist have no sway with this far left party. We are in an ideological battle against the Democrat Party that seeks to undermine the Bill of Rights and contort and re-write our Constitution. We can’t win the fight if the electorate continues to elect Democrat candidates to office claiming they are different, independent-minded or conservative. The Democrat Party will either make them keel their vote or marginalize that vote. We equally can’t win the reform fight if we continue to re-elect or elect fraudulent Republicans who claim to be conservative but sell us out with their votes in state Houses or Congress.

It is time for Americans to recognize that the reason we have a government that is corrupt, over regulatory, wasteful, burdensome and a threat to our way of life is our own fault. We the People have been manipulated, indoctrinated, fooled, cowed, deceived and taught to vote for the silver tongued political rock star instead of understanding what team he or she plays for and what principles they hold. 

Team or Party is where the real power lies in our Republic and we will continue to be under the thumb of big government until we defeat the Party (Democrat) that wishes to grow government and destroy our long held history of hard fought rights and freedoms. 

Stop believing the political lies spewed by leftist media and the DNC about the Tea Party and the Republican Party and just ask yourself some simple basic questions before you head to your ballot box. If the Democratic Party is pro-choice, why is their solution to every problem in America taking away your choice, to own or not own a gun, to have or not have insurance, to use or not use incandescent bulbs, to speak politically correct or be out casted? Which political party supports Obamacare and seeks to keep expanding government in endless programs to destroy individual achievement, independence and freedom.

It is a really simple answer and it is a real simple solution. Stop supporting the big government Democrat Party and see American ingenuity, creativity, economy opportunity bubble up from the people. Hard working Americans built America and the socialist’s welfare selling Democrat Party is tearing it down brick by brick.

 

It is time for the electorate to flex its power and slap down political pretenders. 2010 was the shot across the bow, 2012 was a missed opportunity, and now in 2014 we need to take better aim. No politician that doesn’t value and hold faithful to our Bill of Rights and Constitution should never hold political office, ever.

CONGRESS IS A FIGUREHEAD

The HealthCare Law is awash in controversy from its passage, constitutional upholding, crony exemptions, and unilateral regulatory power to HHS, along with violations to religious freedoms and the lies told to the American people regarding its true health insurance takeover by government. 

Equally in the area of immigration, when Congress failed to pass Obama’s sought after Dream Act, the President did not accept defeat gracefully. Instead he disgracefully sent out directives to the Department of Homeland Security to implement the Dream Act under the guise of prosecutorial discretion. 

Many Americans have been asking Congress how is it that President Obama can unilaterally decide to ignore the mandate dates in laws and whimsically delay them? Those that argue that the President has the authority under executive discretion are making a mockery of Congress and the rule of law. 

Congress has seen its power diminish and its credibility plummet in the eyes of the public. It might be true that it is difficult to expect a partisan recalcitrant Democrat controlled Senate to be persuaded to remove the President from office if the House impeached or censured him, but the silence of the House GOP lambs is deafening.

Even though many conservative Americans complained that the IRS was targeting their political groups starting after the 2010 elections, Congress has held hearings, been stonewalled by the White House and nothing has been done. When the Benghazi terror attack was called a political protest caused by a video by the President and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during the 2012 elections, this bold lie was also uncovered yet what has Congress done? When we found that no help was sent to save these brave men who died defending our consulate and Panetta claimed there wasn’t time, we know that excuse is a shameful deception. Who has been held accountable?

Finally the mainstream media is realizing that the President’s lies about Obamacare have smeared them with being a blatant propaganda machine for the White House and the public is angry at them as much as this administration. They are now reporting a story that some Americans already understood created a major fraud on the 2012 presidential election race. Media is now reporting that parts of Obamacare along with EPA regulations were delayed because their revelation would have altered the outcome of the election.

Consider if the regulatory war on coal by EPA rules was revealed prior to the 2012 elections, and these coal states had the facts about Obama true plans for their industries would Obama be re-elected? Would Ohio that went 50.1 for Obama versus 48.2 for Romney, poll the same? Or Virginia that went 50.8 for Obama versus 47.8 for Romney would those close election results be reversed if voters were armed with the coal truth? What about the razor thin margin of victory Obama received in Florida, 50 versus 49.1, if the lie the President told about Obamacare regarding keeping your insurance plan and doctor was revealed to Floridians prior to their vote? 

Congress has done nothing to address a growing disgust and distrust for what American sees is a thoroughly corrupt and unaccountable presidency that has used the phony diversion tactic of calling dissenters racists as he and the Democrats dismantle our Constitution.  

Throughout all this abuse, fraud deception and lies, the GOP leadership in the House John Boehner and the Senate Mitch McConnell has been burying their heads in the sand waiting only for the next election and the next election and now the next election in 2014. 

Speaker Boehner has the audacity to refuse to appoint a select committee and or a special prosecutor to investigate both the Benghazi and the IRS treachery, yet he has no trouble with waving his fingers in consternation at conservatives. Really John, play golf with the President and snub your base? 

The Speaker’s recent outburst against those that disliked a cowardly budget and took a principled stand to defund or delay Obamacare (Tea Party) ahead of the budget deadline revealed his arrogant elitist Washingtonian delusion of conservatism. He was incredulous that Ted Cruz and Mike Lee supported by millions of Americans would stand up and try to appeal to a stubborn Democrat Party and President that Obamacare should be defunding and or delayed knowing that their pleas would probably fail. 

“Are you kidding me?” Boehner’s comment along with a mocking face may have pleased all those in Washington that hate the idea of government reform and fiscal sanity hoping the corruption in Washington stays but John and others in the GOP don’t get it. What the Speaker and many members don’t understand is that Americans are angry, distrustful and completely frustrated at Congress. They wax dramatic about fiscal cliffs then compromise with spending Democrats on a budget that takes a razor blade to a wood harvest. They sell us the wood shavings and claim it is the best they can do, in fact they expect us to be proud of them. Our response; “Are you kidding us?”

Yes, John, Americans of all stripes, backgrounds, and political colors want their Senators and Representatives to fight the good fight, to stand up to tyranny and to speak truthfully to the American people. Let’s remember Mr. Speaker, that Obama and Harry Reid shutdown the government over Obamacare not Ted Cruz, Mike lee and their supporters. Let’s remember Mr. Speaker, that the last GOP voice echoing in Washington before the rollout was that of principled opposition. Now that Americans have discovered Obama’s lies about the law, they are livid at the Democrats not Ted Cruz. Lastly, let’s understand Mr. Speaker that you don’t engage in only battles in which you are assured a victory. Sometimes self respect requires that you stand your ground knowing you will be knocked to the ground. It is called standing up for principles, standing one’s ground and not backing down. 

   

So are Americans to expect that the GOP strategy is just to continue to sit down, and allow this administration and Harry Reid’s Democrats to trash our constitution while you wait for the 2014 elections then the 2016 elections? How did allowing a corrupt administration to perpetrate government wide voter fraud by deceptions by the Department of Homeland Security on immigration, the State Department lies over Benghazi , the targeting of conservative by the IRS, the purposefully delays of regulations by the EPA and Health and Human Services Department work out in the 2012 election? Do you still think Obama beat Romney fair and square?

This Congress has abdicated its responsibility to defend and protect the Constitution and yes, Speaker Boehner and all other moderate aisle crossing feckless and reckless bystanders to Obama’s executive kingship, this administration has made you fools. Do not send wrath to those of us that elected you to represent both our values and our country’s constitutional Republic. WE the People are not the problem and we expect you to battle for our Republic not just wait for the next rigged election.  

There should be special prosecutors appointed, select committees investigating all the scandals including election fraud, subpoenas flying, censure motions made, and yes impeachment papers filed regardless if Democrats in the Senate ignores them. This is about fighting the good fight for America’s principles and ideals and yes win or lose, history must record that Americans will not just see their country’s torch of liberty blow out without a whimper by our wimpy Congress. 

 

Once upon a time, Mr. Speaker, Americans went to battle against all the king’s army and all the king’s men with many including George Washington doubting victory after suffering many defeats, but against all odds, and without universal support we miraculously we won our country from a dictator. Mr. Speaker, you and all of Congress owe your country at the very least, a bloodless battle in the halls of Congress every day to thwart the Obama executive branch lawlessness or be a legislative branch figurehead.
