TAMPERING IN TAMPA

The latest scandal coming out of Washington is that CENTCOM censored and destroyed reports that were painting a more negative picture of the danger of ISIS terrorism and the growing instability in the Mideast. This was done to make the President's foreign policy (some might say, "What foreign policy?") look more effective. 

CENTCOM is short for the United States Central Command which is one of the six areas of the globe that the Pentagon divides up to analyze and track, for an accurate picture of real time threats and intelligence information for both our military and political leaders.

There are nine commands divisions, the six covering the world are CENTCOM, AFRICOM, (all of Africa except Egypt), EUCOM, (Europe and including Turkey and Israel), NORTHCOM, PACOM, and SOUTHCOM, while SOCOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM function as operational structure for the military.

The CENTCOM division headquartered in Tampa, Florida, covers twenty countries. These are; Afghanistan, Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Uzbekistan and Yemen.

As most Americans know, the CENTCOM region is the hot zone for the ISIS growing expansion of terrorism, the Syrian civil war, the purging of Christian enclaves and the refugee crises. One would expect that information and analysis gathering in this strategic area would be void of politics, and equally empty of misinformation. After all, this is data and fact finding that vows to keep America safe by assessing national security threats before they materialize into deadly realities, and therefore it would be a dereliction of duty to whitewash facts, right?

Although the mainstream media is barely covering this story, the whistleblowers from CENTCOM came to Congress with allegations that reports from military analysts were being heavily edited, and that many were under pressure to write more favorable assessments by their Pentagon superiors. The whistle-blowing over undue White House influence over military intelligence gathering coupled with many rumors that the Obama administration has been purging generals based on their politics rather than their performance so as to replace them with administration friendly obsequious Pentagon pawns, has just found its walking legs.

The House Intelligence Committee, chaired by REP. Devin Nunes has recently revealed that files and e-mails regarding intelligent analysis of ISIS have been deleted at CENTCOM headquarters fueling the whistleblowers claims that Pentagon and White House pressured re-writes of reports, and then destroyed unfavorable drafts, all in the name of political narcissism. Obama's vanity will not allow Americans to know how ineffective are his foreign policies and how the threat of ISIS grows under his rudderless leadership. 

Let's see, the IRS can't find e-mails and files over the conservative targeting scandal because Louis Lerner's hard drive (inexplicably) crashed without backups. The White House has continued to stonewall as to the timeline of the Presidents movements and actions during the Benghazi attack. Hillary Clinton as Secretary Of State had a private non-secured server in which she deleted files and had the server wiped clean. Now we learn that CENTCOM in Tampa had files deleted. Oh but sure, this is just another routine leftist government mistake. At least, that is certainly how the corrupt mainstream media is treating this latest scandal under this morally bankrupt administration.

 Obama's White House spokesperson claims that this scandal matters little because it did not affect the outcome of Obama's foreign policy. Does that sound familiar? "What difference does it make?"

Americans should be furious that under the Democrats our government is operating like a corrupt leftist's orchestra, that plays the only tune they know, Chopin's Funeral March of our constitutional Republic. Since taking office Obama has appointed and promoted only the most obsequious office holders, that are far too willing to commit subterfuge and destroy evidence for their commissar of the White Dacha. 

Once again, our media buries the facts, in the by-the-way news coverage. They are unwilling to join the whistleblowers that have flown out of the government mine to warn us all of the noxious nature of the communists neophytes running the country headlong into its demise.        

Once again, the oversight of Congress is being foiled by the destruction of computer files, and the slow walking committee is chasing a cold trail of scandalous behavior by the most divisive and covert administration to ever hold the White House. 

Once again, no one will be fingered, no one will be charged, no one will be held accountable amid the feckless reckless and rampart reprehensible behavior of both this administration, and their enablers in Congress. 

Will a new Commander in Chief bring integrity to a government so embroiled in amoral fidelity to their political gods, named money and power?

The question most Americans should have, is not, is this administration corrupt, but rather, how broken is our government that so many military and civilian government personnel have forgotten their service oath, and are willing to be loyal to their temporary superior, Obama, rather than their permanent boss, the Constitution and the American people.  

BENGHAZI-DISGRACE

I have decided to not play the liberal political game of calling it Benghazi-gate for it cheapens the seriousness of the shame all Americans should feel about our Commander in Chief abandoning our brave soldiers. The better term for this cowardly scandal is Benghazi-Disgrace which has smeared the People’s House with abject tyranny for everything this nation stands for by shaming our honor.

Our President not only failed those brave men in the field but has lowered the morale of our military, both active and retired, and caused all Americans who understand what difference the Benghazi-Disgrace makes to be sickened and angry.

The latest scandal involving the IRS will not distract any Americans to bury away the Benghazi-Disgrace scandal that would mark a first in our history as a freedom fighting nation. It would be the first time in which orders came from the highest levels to let our men perish while their deaths were seen by live drone-video feed.

Let me repeat this slowly for all those Democrats and leftists who still want to be apologists to this administration when it comes to Benghazi, WE NEVER EVEN TRIED TO SEND THEM HELP. We never knew in advance how long the fight would take so how can it ever be argued it would be too late?

If we arrived too late to have saved those men then so be that outcome, at least we could all hold our heads high knowing that our government tried to do its best for our best. We still know little of the actual facts surrounding that September 11^th attack except these three things.

One we never sent military aid to Benghazi. Two, we were lied to for weeks by top officials and the President, that this was a protest not a planned terror attack. Three that the internal so-called government investigation (ARB report) has proven to be inadequate for its lack of fact finding at best and a white-washing of the truth at worst.

We are in the midst of a cover-up that involves a secret CIA mission with State Department diplomats. These diplomats were sitting ducks in a civil war torn country long hostile to American and American interests, we gave them the scrawniest security even after preliminary terror pot shots were already taken at that consulate and we knew that the 911 anniversary was approaching.

Why didn’t we call them home if we did not intend to provide them security to survive an attack? Why didn't we bring whole hog military assets to the fight once we knew they were under attack?

Second guesses are however not the main thrust of the Benghazi-Disgrace but a sideshow orchestrated by Clinton when she testified that her focus is to fix the mismanagement. The real focus is cowardly abandonment of our soldiers under fire.

 It will not fall into the back pages of the current news and fade into our small and easily distracted attention spans. We knew our Americans were under fire. We knew they needed our support. We knew the terrorists would show no mercy and yet we never even tried to respond to their cries for help.

I know Americans have many political feelings about the issues of the day but I suspect real Americans don’t have to pause to think about the answer to the question, should we aid our men in battle. Many liberals in fact understand, even pacifists have learned from Vietnam, that whether one agrees or not with a war, you honor the soldier that stands between you and the enemy. 

We can come together in this country under arguably the most divisive and partisan President that has ever been granted the privilege of serving in the White House, at least, over our common decency to honor the lives of our brave soldiers. Obama and his Democratic Party has called that honor into question.

We want answers. We demand answers. If the Democratic Party continues to ignore the cowardice of our inaction in Benghazi, Libya by painting it a political witch hunt then it is high time that “We the People” shout louder. We need to demand our representatives hunt down those witches, warlocks and ghouls in Washington that have waved a wand and made honor and courage an expendable expediency to winning political office.

All the other scandals will taint this presidency, but the Benghazi-Disgrace will haunt the White House for years to come, if we don’t exercise the demons of details and uncover all those who unseemly turned their backs on our band of brothers!

These are our American sons and daughters who volunteer to place their life in harm’s way to spare us the savagery of a ruthless radical jihad 
enemy. We as honorable Americans will not, and should not deny them now, as our Military men and women deserve all the shining daylight of truth to be shed on this shameful desertion in their hour of need.

No, Mr. President the Benghazi-Disgrace will not be just another story forgotten in the headlines. Americans value life, liberty and proudly bow respect to her fallen that ensures that our prodigy remains free.

COLD AS LIQUID NITROGEN

In testimony by the outgoing Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta in front of the Senate Armed Services Committee on the Benghazi attack, Americans finally heard information on our President’s level of command and compassion for our diplomats and soldiers in jeopardy. 

In a regular scheduled DOD meeting with the President that lasted 30 minutes only 15 minutes was devoted to the crises unfolding in Benghazi. Leon Panetta expressed to the President and defended the same argument to the committee that there was nothing the military could do to aide those in Benghazi. 

The President reportedly told Panetta to do what could be done and it was on to other routine business. According to Panetta there was no follow up conversations with the President, no contact with the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the military never secured or put boots on the ground in Benghazi to secure the compound because there was no request to do so.

The Obama administration has little shock value to those of us that have been reading the fine print of his administration while ignoring the mainstream media’s sound bite spin yet I admit to being stunned by the cavalier posture of both the President and his top military commanders.

 It was an “oh by the way” discussion at a regularly scheduled meeting?  It was only a 15 minute conversation? There was no statement such as “Mobilize all the available military assets we have and get to the Benghazi compound, I want planes in the air and boots on the ground ASAP.” No follow up conversation with the President at all beyond a 15 minute conversation by the Secretary of Defense Panetta that nothing could be done?

Panetta went on to testify that the military support in incidences such as this one is not to be used as “the 911” to call for support? What?

 

Okay now all Americans especially active military and veterans should be apoplectic with disgust at the Commander and Chief and his chief minister of defense of no defense. Obama’s cold distant and complete lack of engagement reaction is beyond digestion. Travon Martin received more attention by our President than Ambassador Chris Stevens, Tyron Woods, Glen A. Doherty and Sean Smith.

It is more than disheartening to know that our government watched these men undergo an assault through the use of a drone video and did not even try to move assets into place to help these men. There is no past President that I can imagine regardless of being a Republican or Democrat that would not have tried to move heaven and earth to at least try and save these men.

In fact Americans would be able to feel at least rested of unease had we mobilized the assets even if they were too late to save lives but showed our military presence in Benghazi out of respect of our men, to the military and to the Libyans, and to the world.

Instead, the President did nothing but head off to campaign to remain Commander in Chief for another term.

Instead, the President lied to the American people that the Benghazi attack was unclear as to being caused by a protest over a video or a planned act of terrorism.

Instead the President continued to claim on the campaign stump that by his killing of Ben Laden “Al Qaida was decimated”. 

Instead the President sent out Susan Rice Ambassador to the United Nations to puppet a myth that the Benghazi attack was a spontaneous uprising over protests of an anti-Islamic YouTube video.

Instead, the President lied behind the skirt of Candy Crowley in the presidential debate with Romney that he had called the Benghazi attack terrorism at the Rose Garden. 

Instead, of taking responsibility his Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stepped up to take responsibility however, in the new definition of responsibility in the Obama administration that means no blame, no fault, no mistakes, no regrets, no shame and absolutely no adverse consequences such as losing their job.

Instead, of full disclosure to the families of the victims and the American public regarding all the continuing unanswered questions about Benghazi such as where are the victims that were saved by the brave soldiers who died that day, and who changed the “talking points” to claim it was a spontaneous uprising based on a video, we are still left with a silent and empty Executive Branch chair.

Cold as ice is not strong enough to describe a President that did not give a second thought (no follow up) to our Ambassador and the brave men that fought to their deaths for America and Americans.

Even liquid nitrogen is warmer than the heartless space and void chest cavity that characterizes this President’s actions and in-actions making the Grinch even on his most callous of days seem more caring than our Commander in Chief.

Americans should demand a non-partisan investigation because we have an administration covering up for the White House that did not provide cover for our diplomatic personnel. The more information that is exposed exposes a dangerously disengaged American government bureaucracy that has no accountability, credibility or soul.

STYX, LIES, AND VIDEO TAPE

And so when the initial events happened in Cairo and all across the region, we worked with Secretary Clinton to redouble our security and to send a message to the leaders of these countries, essentially saying, although we had nothing to do with the video, we find it offensive, it's not representative of America's views, how we treat each other with respect when it comes to their religious beliefs, but we will not tolerate violence.”

QUESTION: “We have reports that the White House said today that the attacks in Libya were a terrorist attack. Do you have information indicating that it was Iran, or al-Qaeda was behind organizing the protests?”

OBAMA: “Well, we're still doing an investigation, and there are going to be different circumstances in different countries. And so I don’t want to speak to something until we have all the information. What we do know is that the natural protests that arose because of the outrage over the video were used as an excuse by extremists to see if they can also directly harm U.S. interests.”

QUESTION: We were sitting around, talking about Libya, and we were reading and became aware of reports that the State Department refused extra security for our embassy in Benghazi, Libya, prior to the attacks that killed four Americans.

Who was it that denied enhanced security and why?

OBAMA: Well, let me first of all talk about our diplomats, because they serve all around the world and do an incredible job in a very dangerous situation. And these aren't just representatives of the United States, they are my representatives. I send them there, oftentimes into harm's way. I know these folks and I know their families. So nobody is more concerned about their safety and security than I am.
So as soon as we found out that the Benghazi consulate was being overrun, I was on the phone with my national security team and I gave them three instructions.

Number one, beef up our security and procedures, not just in Libya, but at every embassy and consulate in the region.
Number two, investigate exactly what happened, regardless of where the facts lead us, to make sure folks are held accountable and it doesn't happen again.

And number three, we are going to find out who did this and we're going to hunt them down, because one of the things that I've said throughout my presidency is when folks mess with Americans, we go after them.

OBAMA: Now Governor Romney had a very different response. While we were still dealing with our diplomats being threatened, Governor Romney put out a press release, trying to make political points, and that's not how a commander in chief operates. You don't turn national security into a political issue. Certainly not right when it's happening. And people -- not everybody agrees with some of the decisions I've made. But when it comes to our national security, I mean what I say. I said I'd end the war in Libya -- in -- in Iraq, and I did.

I said that we'd go after al-Qaeda and bin Laden, we have. I said we'd transition out of Afghanistan, and start making sure that Afghans are responsible for their own security, that's what I'm doing. And when it comes to this issue, when I say that we are going to find out exactly what happened, everybody will be held accountable. And I am ultimately responsible for what's taking place there because these are my folks, and I'm the one who has to greet those coffins when they come home. You know that I mean what I say.

CROWLEY: Because we're -- we're closing in, I want to still get a lot of people in. I want to ask you something, Mr. President, and then have the governor just quickly.

Your secretary of state, as I'm sure you know, has said that she takes full responsibility for the attack on the diplomatic mission in Benghazi. Does the buck stop with your secretary of state as far as what went on here?

OBAMA: Secretary Clinton has done an extraordinary job. But she works for me. I'm the president and I'm always responsible, and that's why nobody's more interested in finding out exactly what happened than I do.

The day after the attack, governor, I stood in the Rose Garden and I told the American people in the world that we are going to find out exactly what happened. That this was an act of terror and I also said that we're going to hunt down those who committed this crime. 

And then a few days later, I was there greeting the caskets coming into Andrews Air Force Base and grieving with the families.

And the suggestion that anybody in my team, whether the Secretary of State, our U.N. Ambassador, anybody on my team would play politics or mislead when we've lost four of our own, governor, is offensive. That's not what we do. That's not what I do as president, that's not what I do as Commander in Chief.


CROWLEY: Governor, if you want to...

ROMNEY: Yes, I -- I...

CROWLEY: ... quickly to this please.

ROMNEY: I -- I think interesting the president just said something which -- which is that on the day after the attack he went into the Rose Garden and said that this was an act of terror.

OBAMA: That's what I said.

ROMNEY: You said in the Rose Garden the day after the attack, it was an act of terror. It was not a spontaneous demonstration, is that what you're saying?

OBAMA: Please proceed governor.

ROMNEY: I want to make sure we get that for the record because it took the

president 14 days before he called the attack in Benghazi an act of terror.

OBAMA: Get the transcript.

CROWLEY: It -- it -- it -- he did in fact, sir. So let me -- let me call it an act of terror...

OBAMA: Can you say that a little louder, Candy?

CROWLEY: He -- he did call it an act of terror. It did as well take -- it did as well take two weeks or so for the whole idea there being a riot out there about this tape to come out. You are correct about that.

ROMNEY: This -- the administration -- the administration indicated this was a reaction to a video and was a spontaneous reaction.

CROWLEY: It did.

ROMNEY: It took them a long time to say this was a terrorist act by a terrorist group. And to suggest -- am I incorrect in that regard, on Sunday, the -- your secretary --

OBAMA: Candy?

ROMNEY: Excuse me. The ambassador of the United Nations went on the

Sunday television shows and spoke about how --

OBAMA: Candy, I'm --

ROMNEY: -- this was a spontaneous --

CROWLEY: Mr. President, let me --

OBAMA: I'm happy to have a longer conversation --

CROWLEY: I know you --

OBAMA: -- about foreign policy.

CROWLEY: Absolutely. But I want to -- I want to move you on and also --

OBAMA: OK. I'm happy to do that, too.

CROWLEY: -- the transcripts and --

OBAMA: I just want to make sure that --

CROWLEY: -- figure out what we --

OBAMA: -- all of these wonderful folks are going to have a chance to get some of their questions answered.

Really, here's the big question Mr. President why did you not protect Americans?

Americans are appalled that this administration failed to protect Ambassador Christopher Stevens and the lives of 3 other Americans in Benghazi and instead blamed it on a video.

Yes Mr. President we do want our questions answered. Yes Mr. President all Americans are offended by your incompetence to keep them safe and the bevy of lies claiming it was caused by a video tape.

There is no excuse that can explain how the citizenry weeks after the attack were kept in the dark about this blatant and murderous planned terrorist attack in Libya. Did everyone in your administration including you show careless disregard for Benghazi or did everyone starting with you lie.

Even if it is a combination of incompetency and corruption Americans died and you continued to campaign as though it was just another headline in the news. You claimed to be offended at the assertion that your White House plays politics with serious Foreign Policy issues?

You want to take credit for Osama Bin Laden’s killing yet it was George Bush that put him and Al Qaida on the run. It also would not have been possible if Dr. Shakil Afridi in Pakistan did not inform our CIA of Osama’s whereabouts.

You rewarded that doctor’s courage with leaking his name to the New York Times causes him to be sentenced to 33 years in prison.

Why? Is the answer is simply for political gain to promote your prowess as a strong leader on the war on terror?

So why would you and your administration lie and cover-up the events of Benghazi? Well, since you have allowed all your minions to speculate that it was caused by a video prior to a full investigation (even though facts disproved that theory resoundingly) then Americans can speculate as to your obfuscations.

Your Foreign Policy has relied on both appeasement and negotiations with Muslim extremists. Your administration is filled with naïve professorial theorists religiously believing since the start of your tenure as President that there is no “War on Terrorism” but instead it is a world police action against bad guys that just happen to be Muslim.

This is why the Christmas Bomber was read his rights 50 minutes after his arrest before being questioned by intelligence officials. Why the Fort Hood attack was called “workplace violence” instead of terrorism.

This is why shortly after Mubarak’s fall your State Department entered into negotiations with the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt assuring detractors that they were both peaceful and not interested in forming an Islamic State.

Now, Egypt is a hostile environment as Israel’s neighbor and foments violence against Jews, Christians and pro-western ideals.

Your Foreign policy has failed America. Your foreign policy has made
America weak and has fomented resurgence in Muslim extremists groups throughout the Mideast. This is why you drone on about killing Osama Bin Laden while keeping us in the dark about the new heads of the Al Qaida serpent taking his place.

This is why your administration’s humanitarian and un-constitutional military engagement in Libya has resulted in the worse possible outcome, a dead Ambassador and 3 American officials that might have been killed by American weapons.

If those weapons that killed our diplomats in Benghazi turn out to be American or NATO supplied then it is “Fast and Furious Foreign Failure” that has caused your administration to lie and cover-up the truth.




However, the biggest failure you needed to cover-up was your administration’s inept or cold calculated dereliction of duty to protect our Ambassador and Consulate personnel with full knowledge of the real eminent danger they faced.

Explain that Mr. President. Explain why your administration left four Americans begging for protection to die!

Does anyone else worry about another attack on American soil closer to home in which Americans die while this administration dreams up political lies to keep us ignorant like lambs to the slaughter house?
