TO KILL A MUCKING BIRD

What America witnessed on Thursday at the Senate judicial confirmation hearings was a sick and twisted cocktail mix of beer, slime, toxic water and 2 parts ice cold, calculation on the part of Democrat's political machine.

Their objective was to smear Judge Kavanaugh into resigning his good name to their defaming attacks, and or, delay the vote process until the midterm elections, where they hope to win more seats to defeat his nomination to the court.

The Democrat party has no shame or moral conscience for anything done for political gain, and are not just operating under Machiavellian philosophy but have reached below that into the Torquemada-ian realm. (1st Grand Inquisitor, Tomas de Torquemada 1478 Spanish Inquisition.)

On the eve of heading for a confirmation vote for Judge Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, it appeared that the GOP had the votes needed to confirm this nominee even without the Democrats support.

Democrats knew that losing the liberal majority on the Supreme court that progressive Democrats have relied on for years to contort American culture, would be a devastating blow to the left, that has lost power, respect and voters since the 2016 election. Working as hard as they have to damage the reputation of our 45th President without much success, losing the court, was too hard a pill to swallow.

So they reached into their bags of sleazy, swampy, slimy, mud, mucking political playbook and arrived at the answer. Let's tar and feather Judge Brett Kavanaugh, put him on a rack until he recants his desire to be on the court, or hang draw and quarter his good name, until the American public is convinced through these lies, that the GOP and Trump, are nominating a vile rapist to the highest court.

To use an allegation that has no corroboration, no substantive facts, dates, or timelines, except that it supposedly happened 36 years ago in High school is slanderous enough, but when the people she (Christine Blassey Ford) names as being witnesses, have all sworn an oath liable to perjury, that it did not happen, well then, you ignore the allegation, as not credible, right?

Wrong, if you are a Democrat you use this slander to destroy a man's reputation and hope he will transform into a "Boo Radley" and hide his face from public scrutiny, as the price necessary, to save progressive ideology. Due process be damned, truth be dammed and with the complicit help of the mainstream media, ethics and privacy rights be damned, in the leftist world of muck throwing politics.

Every day is Halloween with the Democrat party, as they mask their true faces from Americans, and orchestrate a silent coup. As their paid pumpkin heads, gather in a haunting party, and chase government officials out of restaurants. As they use taxpayer money like candy to have their warlock (Robert Mueller) and his group of ghouls, grave dig, for any monstrous allegation they can use to impeach Trump. As they destroy a judge's reputation nominated to the Supreme Court, with ghost stories and séances to scare the GOP into caving to their demonic powers.

It is time for Americans to wake up and see the Democrat Party for what it is, what it stands for and what it bodes for the future, if it ever is allowed to return to power. This party has entered into a communist cave that has only one exit, as it descends radically downward into the underworld that cares little for anything but domination and power over every aspect of American's liberty. It is their way, their worldview, their rules, their power prerogatives, their whimsy of persecution and punitive justice, and they seek to empower more useful idiots to harass Americans into thinking that our constitutional rights are granted by government.

Rather the bill of rights is an exclusion list for government, and by the way, for Google and Twitter as well, that clearly affirms that the right to free speech and the to bear arms is an inalienable right excluded from the control and clutch of any authority save the people.

God cannot help us, if we refuse to stand righteously against the ugly, anti-American, lawless calls of the mocking bird of our constitution, the Democrat party.

IT'S FAIR MARKETS NOT FAIR TRADE

On both sides of the aisle there are supporters for the TPA Trade Promotion Authority (Fast track) and the TPP Trans Pacific  Partnership that has Americans confused. Especially given the dysfunction of our current political logjam it is curious to see unlikely bedfellows so cozy and comfortable on this trade issue and worse to have conservatives secretly applauding Pelosi.

The TPP or trade deal has Australia, Brunei, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Chili, Peru, Vietnam, Malaysia, Japan, Singapore, New Zealand and the United States in a trade partnership but is it a good deal or a negative deal for Americans? We don't know and that's the biggest problem.

There seems to be four realities to global trade deals, one, is that all parties invariable cheat or ignore the terms of the deal. Two, America is always left in a trade deficit in which much more foreign product is imported and less American product is sold in foreign markets usually thru currency manipulation. Three, there is never any effective or realistic arbiter to enforce that all parties stick to the deal. Last but not least corporations and K Street benefit far more than America's main street. Why? Because our market is political corrupt and not a free market anymore.

The problem with this latest deal is that the President has been pushing for TPA or Trade Promotion Authority. In essence if TPA were passed it would give the President the ability to present to Congress a trade bill like TPP and ask for a straight up or down vote while not allowing for amendments or changes by our legislative process.

Congress would be ceding its power to amend, re-write and fix trade deals by handing its power to the executive branch. It would give the President the ability to broker bad deals and then affront Congress with the, hard place and a rock choice, of dammed if you do dammed if your don't, by passing a bad deal or seeing China step in and take our place.

This Trans Pacific Partnership deal has been euphemized as "Obamatrade" because America's level of government distrust is at an all time high given the amount disingenuousness emanating from the White House. Furthering the suspicions of the American people is the hushed secrecy of the deal coupled with a President and Congress that has failed to explain the terms of this trade alliance to the American people.

It therefore appears to be just as onerous a treaty, as Obamacare was as a Bill, where an expansive law was passed before anyone read the provisions, especially the ones in the ACA that ceding legislative authority to the bureaucracy of the Health and Human Services Secretary to make up and write regulations as wanted or needed. If this trade deal is so important, and ensures American products are treated fairly in these countries markets, why the secrecy?

Free trade is a fact of life today and unless and until there is wide scale global recession or depression (not outside the realm of potential) like it or not American products must compete on the world stage. Being against this treaty or any trade agreement is not about being an economic protectionists or an isolationists but rather a realist.

We know that in past free trade agreements some countries purposefully make American imports so economically unviable that soon there develops a big deficit in which a country's imports to our nation's consumers far exceeds our exports to their consumers. We complain, but do little to alter a growing deficit. It therefore is imperative to have a strong rules and an equally strong referee to ensure fairness in trade.

However, the imports and exports of products is only one aspect of trade agreements and some say even a phony issue, since free markets always contain ebbs and flows depending on consumer demand. The truth is that there is never a real parity ratio between trading partners within the normal free market of ups and downs or supply and demand, termed differently in trade as imports and exports or expanding trade markets and deficits.

What real Americans worry about is job loss. That worry is not unfounded because corporate America has been just as underhanded and untrustworthy as the current Administration. The fact that corporate lobbyists are pushing hard for TPP raises suspicions with the American people. They also pushed hard for comprehensive immigration reform claiming America's education system was not providing qualified workers. Leaving people to wonder why they continued to donate to liberals that have ruined our education system.

America's corporate taxes and regulations are at an all time high under the micro management of progressive socialists that have strangled our once free enterprise marketplace, and worsened our current crony capital mixed market by continuing to move it into a state controlled market or (communism).

Yet, how have the corporations responded to increased federal control? Have they lobbied to return us to a free enterprise marketplace? Have they supported free enterprise candidates to Congress? Have they campaigned against social progressive candidates? Have they refused to participate with Obama agenda? Have they lobbied Congress to decrease regulations so they could hire more American workers? Or have they participated and even furthered government involvement to benefit themselves in a selfish oligarchy scheme?

We know that the big health insurers not only backed Obamacare they wrote the legislation. Why? To reduce the competition and rake in more profits.  The reason social progressive have become the party of big business is that they understand it is easier to control a few major players than to corral thousands of independent business owners.

Corporate America and K Street are in bed with both political parties for their own profit interest, period. If they can open up new plants in Vietnam or Chile and take advantage of low wages and low benefits while reaping greater profits, does anyone think they won't take advantage?

Democrats are fond of fooling their voters by saying they are the party of the people, the little people, not big business like oil companies, but is anyone buying that lie today? It is plain and obvious that both parties are in the deep pockets of corporate and K street donations.

Both political parties are fooling Americans when they claim to be pro business when really they just want to continue to line their own pockets with wealth and a cash cow to tap for funds from an outrageously growing world of political campaign spending.

If the GOP in Congress were to get back to their real party platform, of being pro free marketers rather than corporate shills, they will need to support not just lowered corporate tax rates but fair regulations for large and small business, fair and free market trade competition both home and abroad. They should be considering serious slashing of federal agencies along with auditing the fed and returning America to a wealth rather than debt based economy.

If Americans believed that our government was on the road to restoring our free markets and once again becoming an asset based economic power, ridding us of the handicaps place on us by social progressive micro regulatory rules, then we would confidently be in support of any and all global trade deals. America has never been afraid of competition. Get off our backs and bring it on and we'll do just fine.

WHEN DID JUSTICE DIE?

Once upon a time in America, justice was blind to whom stood before her judgment and she aggressively protected the rule of law's equality. From the wrongdoing of a homeless perpetrator to illegality done by public figures, the law was respected and upheld by apolitical prosecutors seeking justice for victims while equally deterring those thinking of committing  similar crimes.

Rightly or wrongly, Americans today have the perception that Lady Justice is peeking behind her blind as she refuses to prosecute the politician, and rich powerful figures while instead, seeking to target only the hard working middle class offender. From prosecutorial discretion to political persecution our justice system has become a shadow of its original foundation of faith by Americans; that there is equal protection under the law.

Upholding the rule of law requires not just prosecutions of those that violate the law, but prosecutors must make egalitarian examples especially when it comes to public figures and those leading our government's policies. The perception that one will be held accountable and serve jail time, is an important tool of deterrence, but it is also a necessary nurturance to morality in governance.

When illegal activities and unethical scandals are ignored or result in watered down punishment, it not only sends the message of hypocrisy but stamps the approval to the rich and powerful that they are untouchable which leads to furthering corruption.

Americans are more than frustrated by a convergence  of current realities besetting the nation. The worse level of trust exists over our government's honesty, uprightness and representation of our needs in three centuries and three decades of our founding. In fact, the growing consensus is that Congress works for special interest monies only and by that, acts against the average American's needs.

We are losing our self governing system to career politicians who are corrupted by corporate monies and cowed by a liberal media pretending to report truth. The federal entrenched elitist government bureaucratic power continues to grow while simultaneously America's citizens fear and distrust in their government grows.

Where the law was once viewed as the pluralistic equalizer, between the governed and the governor, today the unconscionable volume of laws and regulations is a virtual pillory around the neck of hapless citizens.

Meanwhile the lawlessness of our own government (Benghazi, IRS, Fast and Furious, DHS, NSA spying) is ignored, politicized and treated as minor missteps by those pretending to oath allegiance to our Constitution.

If Congress was serious about uncovering wrongdoing and investigating the truth over the multiple breaches of law by the government, then a special prosecutor would have been authorized long ago to investigate a warm trail of evidence. Instead, they allowed the trail to freeze over.

The people went to the polls in 2014 seeking to stop the fanatical actions of one party (Democrats) leading the country into debt, danger and ruin, only to find the other party (GOP) content to do nothing.

The leadership of our country is so perverse and the representative rational is so contaminated with political expediency, there is a paralysis of decency, honor and trust in our government.

Apparently it is no longer about the probity of our laws and the integrity of our Constitution, but rather it is all about politics, it is all about winning elections, it is all about 2016, it is all about political strategy while corruption marches onward without so much as a speed bump in its way.

The new normal of debauchery by government officials has replaced the respectability of public service and has the potential to dissuade the moral minded and incorruptible candidates from seeking office. Worse would be the return of a cynical public no longer seeking honorable office holders for their fight against lawless leadership.

The world outside your door might be a jungle of liars and thieves but they do not have the power to hurt or corrupt you, instead you have the power to set the example of righteousness and show that world fearlessness in the face of their false dominion.

We Americans must be willing to confront, not bow, antagonize, not appease, vocalize, not stammer, expect, not forgive, demand, not ask, that our representative hold tightly in their hearts and minds our Constitution. The document that relies solely on the citizens preservation, acknowledgement and passionate possession.

Thomas Paine words  "These are the times that try men's souls" is as ripe today as it was then, for today is the time that tries all, of our American souls.

LOUD AND CLEAR OR BACKGROUND STATIC?

Given that speeches are political hot air feasts intended to buoy public opinion on upcoming policy campaigns, they are meaningless without action, yet it is important to make voters feel that Washington is listening.

It is also an opportunity for both political parties to present a buffet of policy ideas and receive feedback from the public, thereby getting a sense on what policy priorities are more or less popular. Obama's scorecard has already flunked, but the GOP, in its early grades don't seem to be acing any tests so far.

Americans were not thrilled with either Obama's speech or the GOP rebuttal.

Obama has been deaf to public opinion since 2010, so few expected him to recognize that his Party and policies have nose-dived with independent voters, the same voters the Democrats rely on to make their minority "Kool-aid" policies seem mainstream. Indeed his administration has been marked with arrogant recalcitrant obstinacy that has diminished Democrat power.

Yet the GOP response to Obama's SOTU speech was underwhelming and disappointing for its lack of inspiration and red meat, leaving conservatives and libertarians feeling wary about the lean, low fat agenda the opposition's menu contains.

Senator Ernst is not to blame, she is just a new member of an old party asked to deliver a speech that has been cooked up by high ranking members of the GOP in the back rooms of Washington's political kitchen.

The policy speech was troublesome for its bland banquet offerings and perhaps more importantly, worrisome because of the absence of sharp knifed proteins left off the table. Especially when a starving public expected and deserved full course satiation at a post game celebration feast.

The first complaint is that the GOP agenda isn't bold, isn't innovative and somewhat mirrors the left. The left loves (especially Obama) to talk about job creation. The Keystone pipeline isn't going to make a dent in the number of jobs needed to re-energize the economy number one and number two, trade barriers are not the reasons entrepreneurial opportunities and business expansion is shrinking in America.

Big government, class action lawsuits, high taxation, Obamacare, crony capitalism, myriads of regulations and laws that stifle growth have all have contributed to America's lackluster economy.

Government need only to get out of the way by downsizing itself and repealing its unconstitutional presence in the marketplace allowing the free enterprise to grow. It is basic conservative policy to remove the mixed market governors from the economic engine that has served our nation well in the past and indeed created the Middle Class.

Instead of touting un-tethered private enterprise as the curative, they spoke like Democrats by extolling what they (government) can do to fix the economy. They missed the opportunity to state emphatically the Ronald Reagan adage that resonated with Americans of all politically party persuasion: get government off our backs and out of our lives.

Second complaint, was the hackneyed idea of simplifying the tax code. How many times have we heard that in the past? Today, we have an IRS agency that has been allowed to violate the law, punish political foes, destroy and or cover-up evidence, misuse public funding and to date, no-one has been held accountable, fired or prosecuted.

Americans never trusted the IRS from its inception, but now more than ever the people want justice and the abolishment of the IRS. Calling for the closing of loopholes in the post Lois Lerner targeting age is beyond lame, it reflects a business as usual corrupt cluelessness over the public's discontentment.

Lastly the complete absence of bared teeth and pitchfork rhetoric we heard on the campaign trail in 2014 by the GOP over Obama's king George the third's impersonation in the White House. GOP Senators and Representatives seeking election assured voters that Obama's unilateral unconstitutional immigration plans would be met with legislative roadblocks that would take away his "phone and pen" by all means necessary.

In the GOP response speech we instead heard this: "We will work to correct executive overreach."

Work to correct? Does that sound like a strong push back or a wet noodle chastisement? You work to correct mistakes, you don't work to correct defiance. You work to correct problems, you don't work to correct lawlessness. You work to correct mishandling, you don't work to correct a complete undermining of our Constitution and its clear separation of powers.

The GOP speech did not instill confidence in the public that we are being heard "loud and clear" instead it made most voters believe we are still a static background noise to Beltway buddies.

The GOP seems to want to play nice with the administration until 2016 when it herds us to the table where Jeb Bush, Chris Christie and Mitt Romney wearing hair nets try to slop the same over-processed goop of small appetizers-teasers on our plates calling it gourmet opposition catering.

Most know it to be however, the same old political pablum we were spoon fed as children, albeit now we are not naive political knickers-wearing "Gruber-ites" that can be swooned by empty words that produce imperceptible change in the way Washington operates.

So we will wait and watch what the GOP will do or not do in the coming months, hoping that they dial in to our strong voter signal because so far, we are holding our spoons ready to either gag and swallow or toss that slop back on their obtuse noggins.

P.S.  Advice to GOP politicians, wear a raincoat to your town hall meetings because Americans don't want to be taken to the cleaners again.
