SOCIAL ISSUES ARE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY!

I am sick and tired of pundits and voters that “cling” to the false lies spewed by the liberals that Republicans will legislate morality and institute bans on free will and choice.
This a false narrative promulgated by Democrats that equate the overturning of Roe V. Wade as being the step (more apt leap) into women dying of “coat hanger abortions” by claiming that if States don’t fund abortion then poor women will self-abort.
They claim if States are not forced to fund abortion then most States will make abortion illegal and ergo take away all women’s right to choose options in her pregnant condition.
If there is free choice for a woman to abort then there should be free choice for women who do not support abortion to not have their taxpayer dollars used against their moral objections.
Clearly if government decided to supply State prisoners with pornographic magazines using taxpayer money Democrats would be up in arms claiming it would be morally reprehensible to have female taxpayers footing the bill for the exploitation of women.
The NOW organization would be the first to decry the practice as an abomination against women’s rights. Yet, this same organization has zero empathy for conservative women who do not wish their taxpayer dollars to be used to fund abortions under the same grounds of moral objection.
Not only is this a false premise the complete opposite is true. It is the Democrats that are intruding on the rights of pro life taxpayers to morally object to their tax dollars being spent on a morally reprehensible promotion.
There are many ways to resolve the issue of a women’s right to choose while preserving a citizen right to retain conscientious objection. One way is to use the Public Campaign Finance model as a way to bridge the gap.
On our Federal income tax 1040 form it asks whether you as a taxpayer are willing to donate a $3 dollars for Presidential election campaign fund. Why can’t States ask taxpayers to donate to an Abortion/contraceptive fund for welfare recipients?
This money then would be raised and used by those without moral objection to abortion. State’s  could be required to put the money in escrow and  only used for this specific purpose (abortion) while collecting interest to be rolled over year to year to keep the money available to those who qualified for the need.
Taxpayers now would not be forced to financially support abortion, while taxpayers in support of abortion could contribute their money with their opinion.
This is just one example of common sense solution to a contentious social issue facing the country. Democrats are fond of saying they are the party that protects freedom of choice, a lie while they accuse Republicans as the party wishing to enact morale bans on personal behavior, a damn lie.
The hypocrisy of suggesting that only socially liberal Democrats are awarded freedom of choice and all those that morally disagree are out in the cold. Moreover the demonizing of the religious right as being hell-bent on passing laws to criminalize moral behavior is a sham and a ginned up scare tactic by the left.
Conservatives want government out of the social issues while Democrats have used their over-reaching interpretation of our Constitution to interfere with long held moral values in American society.
The Democrats are under our beds! The Democrats are in our children’s heads. The Democrats are in our kitchens. The Democrats are in our cars. The Democrats are in our kid’s lunchboxes. The Democrats are in our churches. The Democrats are in ALL our social issues! That’s what social programs mean!
This is the party that wants big government to tell you (mandate) what to buy, what to eat, what to think about moral issues, what to be allowed to say (political correct) and most importantly take away all individual rights and private ownership.
The Democrats have been encroaching on our liberties for half a century and yet Americans are being duped to believe that the Republican Party is the threat because they support religious freedom, pro-life morality, limited laws and regulations, separation of powers, fidelity to constitutional protected rights and a Federal government that stops dictating to State government.
It is the Democratic Party that undermines our 1st and 2nd Amendment not the Republicans. It is the Democratic Party proselytizing and dictating their sexual social views on church institutions denying religious freedom.
What rational common sense American can’t see that Democrats big government intrusion on everyone’s personal liberty to choose individually is what this culture war in America is all about?

I am an American, so don’t tell me Democrats what to buy. I am an American so don’t tell me Democrats how much salt, sugar or pork fat I can eat! I am an American, so don’t tell me Democrats what words I cannot say! I am an American so don’t tell me Democrats what car I can drive! I am an American, so don’t tell me Democrats what light bulbs I can screw into my lamps! I am an American, so don’t tell me Democrats what I can pack in my child’s lunchbox! I am an American, so don’t tell me Democrats that I must pay for the deceased previous owner’s pollution on property I purchase! I am an American, so don’t tell me Democrats that I must pay for union pensions when I don’t have one! I am an America so don’t tell me Democrats what my moral views should be on any social issue!
I am an American that wants the dictating Democrats out of my business, my home, my children’s school, my church and my life period!
I will not cede my rights by voting for Democrats but prefer to seed the Republican Party with new blood that respects my individual right to have government out of my life, liberty and pursuit of happiness!

GIVE ME FREEDOM NOT ENSLAVED BALANCE!

The wrong answer to both the current spending and size of the federal government is the proposed Balanced Budget Amendment to the Constitution. Once again the lack of real leadership and principle has led to a wayward desire to again limit the voice of the people.

Franklin Roosevelt dynasty bore the legacy of the 22nd Amendment that limits a president to two four year terms because the people were not trusted to place an educated vote.

The 18th Amendment was enacted because the Temperance Movement held sway with legislators who once again decided in their king-like paternity that the people needed to be protected from themselves.

The 14th Amendment is the most egregious of the post Bill Of Rights Amendments as it reacted to the Civil War and decided that the Federal Government should reduce the power of the States to act jointly against the federal authority. The argument that it was needed to ensure against “Black Codes” by southern States is sophomoric and more importantly redundant in that the original Bill of Rights and the 13th Amendment already guaranteed Constitutional protection for minorities.

The 14th Amendment re-wrote our forefather’s Constitution that envisioned a strong independent union of autonomous States with a small subservient centralized government to play a facilitator’s role. Instead the 14th Amendment gives the Federal government dictatorship over the states and renders powerless the 10th Amendment.

Enter now the new constitutional proposed amendment called the Balanced Budget Amendment that would take the power of Congress to appropriate money out of the hands of the majority of Representatives and instead be vested in a piece of paper.
Looking beyond the current overspending of Congress what would happen if the World saw the coming of World War III? Would we look at the Balanced Budget Amendment and say that we are already at 18% of GDP and therefore we must wave the white flag of surrender to our enemies because we can’t afford to fight?
Handcuffing our Republic and transforming our Constitution’s stated enumerations is statism by those that claim to want to return to our founder’s original intent. Don’t be deceived that this is being proposed by conservatives and therefore it must be a right minded course of correction.
If anything Americans wishing for a return to our historic freedom and independence should be looking to abolish Amendments beyond the Bill of Rights; not call and cry for more constraining Amendments.
A representative Republic is slow messy and always with opposition and debate. It is normal, natural, healthy and intellectually honest to hold differing opinions with others as one wrangles with decisions. I would rather be free and frustrated in the minority opinion than be dull-witted and trapped by an Amendment that excludes my voice.
DeMint and Rand Paul might be well meaning but they are ignorant of the most important part of why America’s Constitution is the most enviable form of self governance the world has ever known. It is individual liberty! Individual Freedom!
Individual rights are not an assurance that one’s choices are always correct, long-sighted, reasonable or unchangeable. Individual freedom does not require perfection, monolithic agreement or universal truth. It allows me to be wrong and not persecuted for it. It allows me to watch others jump on the bandwagon of current trends and decide to refuse acceptance.
Amending the Constitution to force fiscal compliance is taking away freedom. Freedom does not mean you are only free to be responsible, instead freedom means you are equally free to fail as well as succeed.

The Tea Party Movement must not support this new Amendment proposal no matter how frustrated they are about Washington spending. We have an election process in place to restore fiscal integrity by defeating the deaf ears in Washington. Stop taking away my rights because voters remain ignorant and continue to put socialist’s thieves back into office. We need to wake up the Sheeple and work harder to preserve every ounce of freedom citizens of this great country have left!

GOVERNORS CAN SLOW THE ENGINE OR LEAD WITH POWERFUL AUTHORITY!

Janet Napolitano silenced and stymied the conservatives in the State House by use of her veto pen for six long years. Oh but now, that there is a new Republican Governor the conservative agenda and conservatism in Arizona is growing.

http://townhall.com/news/politics-elections/2010/04/30/ariz_lawmakers_give_conservatives_plenty_to_cheer

This new Arizona Immigration Law is just one of a number of new pieces of legislation the State House has on its agenda. In an un-intended way the Obama Administration has removed the hen guarding the fox house. By giving her office to Arizona Secretary of State Jan Brewer a strong social conservative Barak and Napolitano have both made Arizona's homeland more secure.

Jan Brewer has promised the Republican legislators that their conservative agenda priorties will be signed. Voters in Arizona are not just tired of the lack of Federal action on the border but equally frustrated at the flacid flip floppy middle of the road republicans that run on conservative values but play wish washy on the issues. Sound familiar Washington Republicans? What does this mean? Two things for us to remember until November;

One; ( "all politics is local." Tip O'neill), we cannot underestimate or under-value the power of Govenor's races and State House races.

Two; by telling the candidates in our local State races that Arizona's actions are the kind of tough conservative stands we expect from our republican representatives, perhaps we will encourage them to take a stand,
On something...on anything and then stick to their...principles. (I bet you thought I was going to say guns? No...they can't be trusted.)
