COVID-19 PROVES COLLECTIVISM IS A UTOPIAN MYTH

During this COVID-19 pandemic, one must notice the stark contrast of ideology, playing out in society. More than just the antagonism between those that love Trump, or hate Trump, more than just the socialists versus the free marketers, more than just the Democrats and Republican divide, we are experiencing the “BRAVE NEW WORLD” experiment, as the social sea changes overnight.

We have all become “savages” as we face a mystical world, where playgrounds designed for a city’s trove of rambunctious joyful children, sit eerily quiet. A new world where waves, bows, nods and winks have become the new salutation. A suspicious world, where strangers ringing the doorbell, cause panic, and uneasy curiosity, as to whom might be invaded one’s cone of viral protection. A dystopian world, where fear and freedom collide like emotional ions, to form a paralytic reaction of inaction, which leaves all Americans once living life with liberty, now caught in a societal puzzle.

COVID-19 is an unseen killer, indiscriminate in infecting its victims, and rendering our future interactions in society as a people, extinct. We know we will be experiencing a new normal, once the immediate danger passes. Close talkers and those that wish to hug without asking, will be asked to back away, as we step back. Spitting at someone might be re-considered by state legislatures and changed to battery, rather than simple assault, as it currently is most states, with exceptions for spitting on police officers.

Moreover, this virus portends to be the tipping point of change that might finally bring the world back, to healthy, sane and reasonable interactions, while finally erasing leftist myths.

In essence, all that the left has been preaching about, demanding and desiring when it comes to altering society is back on the table for discussion. Everything from using mass transit, to promoting unisex bathrooms, to redefining family values is about to be re-evaluated, by a society in fear of intimate interactions with strangers.

Gathering in large groups is currently being banned and forbidden, because of a microscopic virus, yet this COVID-19 germ is not an isolated threat. Many other viruses and bacteria are just itching to conquer our anti-bacterial and anti-viral medication treatments and seek to become a pandemic killer. Indeed, medical science has been warning for years against the overuse of anti-viral and antibiotics, that creates antibiotic-resistant strains of germs free to ravage our bodies and rendering vaccines useless.

Once again, although we live in a modern world, sometimes the “Savage” old fashioned ways of keeping healthy, such as washing hands, coughing into our inner elbows, turning our heads to the ground when sneezing, and staying home from work, not going out to dinner at a restaurant or to a party with an illness, is societal respectful thing to do.

One should be able to socialize without drooling all over one another other, but some public places take away the space to be healthy. Airlines have been packing people up like sardines and taking away travelers space for 30 years. Sports arenas have become food mosh pits or should we say nosh pits. So many people chomping down food and bumping their elbow into your nacho cheese fries, whenever a run is scored, can be, well, very unpleasant indeed.

The good news is that it might make all these public catering travel companies and event operators, compete for your privacy and comfort in the future. Now wouldn’t that be refreshing? Airline seats spaced further apart with flip up side panels to couch you from neighbor to the left and right. Stadiums could do the same, and concessions might just marry the old peanuts throwing concession, to a food order app and a seat running track, that allows your gourmet hot dog to be delivered right to you, without missing a pitch.

Well, using the public restrooms anywhere, but especially at stadiums, would still need to be solved. Because these horse trough open urinals in public men’s rooms are an intrusion of privacy for men, and for women with young boys. Yes most good Moms take their very young and naive male children into the woman’s room. I never did understand why men’s public restrooms, aren’t afforded the same privacy as women. However, I’ll let others try and solve that cesspool of both germs and pervert potential.

If this virus shows the American people anything dispositive and concretely realistic, it shows that government is not a god, nor a panacea of salvation. Ultimately, consumers should demand that we not be treated as cattle by those that want our business.

While the left has been pushing for an expansion of government power, conservatives and libertarians have been calling that expansion both unconstitutional, and a utopian myth of reliance. COVID-19 reminds us, that as humans dealing with life and death issues, we alone must manage our protection.
Government guidelines are being followed by Americans who already morally understand the need to both protect their families and respect their neighbor’s right to be protected. Individually morality and fear are guiding most Americans to shelter in place and self quarantine if they pose a risk to others, not Big Nanny Government.

In fact, the group of citizens that are ignoring the unspoken code of conduct during the pandemic, have been who? Yes, you guessed it; some of our radical leftist indoctrinated “woke” millennial generation, which has been raised to not practice, what they screech, to the rest of us.

We are learning many lessons during this pandemic. For instance, private cars are safer than public transportation during a viral outbreak. Handshaking and close interaction with strangers has always been a germ passing risky business. The need to shop in brick and mortar businesses is waning because of the ease of ordering your goods online. Politicians (Nancy Pelosi) becoming infused with larger egos and less brain power has also been on vivid display.

Telecommuting or working remotely from home needs to be optimized in a technological society that has the capacity to implement it more broadly. Early socialization of our children in Day Care and Nursery school should be avoided, especially if not necessary. Teaching our children how to cook, has become a lost art and yet a very necessary skill in these times.

Independent private thinkers, builders, and tinkerers are such an important resource in times that require innovation and re-invention. Indeed, all skilled trades over professorial propaganda is needed during times of crises, because those that can actually repair, fix or retrofit a solution to a problem, become more prized, than an eloquent thesis paper, on the sex lives of gnats.

Yes, we are learning why our borders are important. We are learning why manufacturing our necessary consumer products at home, is essential. We are discovering that our past political leadership, left us ill prepared to face domestic crises. We are witnessing the ever important need to protect our Bill of Rights especially the 2nd Amendment.

The left continues to try and destroy our Constitution, and the protections it affords to every individual, by ceding more and more control to government. In these times especially, we see politicians misusing their power to score political favoritism and it should both frighten us, more than this virus, as well as awaken our renewed efforts, to stop leftist ideology from diminishing America’s unique protection of individual rights.

“Everyone belongs to everyone else.” (Brave New World Aldous Huxley)

The left’s ideology of “We are the world” globalism, political correctness, and social justice, believe in this collective sense of society, which renders the individual and individuality, obsolete.
However, patriotic Americans know our Constitution wasn’t designed to destroy individuality, in order to form “a more perfect union” but rather, to “secure the blessings of liberty” for Americans and future generations.

AN EAGLE SOARED ON HOODOO MOUNTAIN

There are lots of things about aging that can be made into a laugh, a joke or a witty remark, but the truly hardest thing about turning another year grey, are those wonderful family and friends you lose.

In Idaho, a man who lived on a mountain, a man who loved and served his country, a man who loved independence, freedom and America's pioneer spirit, joined those in history and became another echoing spirit, of American liberty. His name was Fred Houck, and although his mortal light flickered out, his shining spirit, still gleams as bright and vibrant as his determined will illuminated him, in life, as a distinctly fine and proud man.

Fred passed on to the next world quickly and without warning but left a legacy of fond memories and chiding advice on being a free American, to those that had the privilege to know him. His most famous line, indeed, signature statement, was "We will not be ruled!"

He hated what liberalism (communism, socialism) was doing to his country, and he knew, as we all do, that the left is a small minority, that have infiltrated into authority positions, in our government and media. It makes them seem larger than they are, and Fred always had confidence, that eventually, the good traditional Americans of this country would rise up against the left's anti-American ideology.

Fred believed in his countryman, and was always upbeat and optimistic. If you loved your country and wanted to keep its constitutional foundations, Fred would welcome your voice and friendship. We are grateful that he lived to see Trump become President, knowing that the tide was finally was shifting, from leftist sedition and corrupt politicians.

Fred knew that Americans came in all colors, races and original nationalities, and if you stood four square for your country, and was proud of her, then Fred saw you a compatriot that needed to do his or civic duty, to defend America's values. But rather than try and paraphrase Fred views and beliefs, I offer Fred's own words in which he elegantly expresses his deeply held convictions.

"What is a Traditional American ?
When I was growing up I was a 'normal' American. Everyone I knew and every person society admired loved America and was proud of being an American. We knew that our representatives, for the most part, did as we directed, kept taxes low, respected and loved God, Motherhood, and baseball. We all knew the words and meaning behind our National Anthem and the Pledge of Allegiance. We were Americans.

About the time I graduated from high school, and after that fat ugly guy beat the UN podium with his cheap shoe, the hippies appeared to declare the "establishment " so "over". The stolid old-fashioned traditions of Christian morals , Right and Wrong, and National pride, held by "conservatives" were disdained by the 'flower children'. I enlisted for War, they marched in the streets against us. Now I was a war-mongering, xenophobe, and a prejudiced, narrow-minded "conservative. The protesters were "Liberals"

As the hippies went from the streets to the faculties, from the faculties to the LSM, and the demorat party, I remained a "conservative". Now I was told that I was among the abnormal fringe, right-wing. Part of a much maligned bunch of flag-waving Patriots of a bygone age. So Over. The odd thing was that I hadn't changed my views or ideals since back when I was a "normal" American.

I still believed that America, as I knew her, is the greatest Nation in the history of man. I still believed in God and Judeo-Christian morality, in the absolute value of the nuclear, hetero-sexual family. Anyone who argued against America in my presence still had a fight on their hands with an opponent who never learned to quit.

I recognized years ago that too many good American citizens had disengaged from their duty as citizens. Too many were willing to ignore the tyranny of the ever expanding government in the hands of self-serving politicians. I didn't have a voice that reached beyond my friends and associates and felt powerless. The new media changed that for all of us. We have no more excuses. We must rise to our duty as citizens and fight for this Nation here at home.

I call myself a Traditional American so that others can recognize me as a citizen who believes in America's founding principles, our Traditions as Americans. I have found that this label does not recall the media applied stigmas that have become attached to all of us "conservatives". Am I also a "Conservative" ? Of course I am and anyone who enters a conversation about the state of our Nation for more than one sentence knows that immediately. The neat thing is that they are still making conversation instead of drawing preconceived conclusions.

We are called to our duty as citizens to awaken our fellow Americans, enlist them in this fight, and raise the strongest voice heard in 233 years for the Real Americans to stand to the line and never yield our place until Victory is etched in the granite of the heart of OUR Nation once again. Fight hard, never falter. WE will NOT be RULED !!"

I know that I am a better patriot for having met Fred Houck, but after all, America produces millions of examples of this simple Idaho American, all across this great land. It is why Fred loved his fellow Americans, his country and the promise it holds for his children and grandchildren, to pursue their individual happiness. The world has never known real freedom, before America was born.

Bravo! Bravo! Bravo, Houck family! Your husband, father, grandfather was a wonderful man, who fought hard to keep you free and proud! It was an honor to know him.

THE DEMOCRATS ARE THE PARTY OF LIES, SPIES AND TEARLESS CRIES

Under the guise of gathering information, under the trickery of data collection and under the innocuous rationale of insuring fairness, our government is intruding. Our government is expanding its power well beyond its original limitations with its hands on our health throats. Our government is becoming a ubiquitous unwelcomed peeping-tom in our Americans lives.

The NSA and now the FCC have been caught spying and peeking treacherously in the shadows. They are trampling all over the “keep out” signs and prohibitions written clearly in the Bill of Rights, from the first Amendment to the tenth.

The new revelation that the FCC has plans to infiltrate newsrooms with a survey to gather information to supposedly ensure that there is equal opportunity for diversity in the ownership of media outlets is not just troubling it is downright antithetical to core principles of America’s credo.

Once again Americans have an explosive story that provides ample insight and evidence that big government is a tyrannical threat, a morphing growing monster that eats freedom and sucks the oxygen of liberty out of the air, interfering with the American individual ‘s right to breathe unmolested.

The Democrats continue to talk of Republicans’ false wars on women and the environment when their Party and administration is actively waging war on America’s very foundational essence. War on privacy, war on Bill of Rights, war on free enterprise, war on fossil fuels, war on private property, war on jobs and war on our Constitution and its reliance on the separation of power.

It is time for the voters; yes the Democrat supporting voters, to be called out as supporters of big government tyranny. No longer should we accept the “low-information” voter excuse of those that continue to elect and re-elect Democrats.

The Democrat Party is enabling Obama to rule like a king. The Democrat Party not only authored Obamacare, it supports big government expansion by its unlawful interpretation of our Constitution. Democrats treat our Constitution and Bill of Rights as a metaphorical document of translation subject to loose interpretation as opposed to a carefully worded and crafted legal contract that establishes foundational law.

Whether by support or silence the Democrats in Congress have not once joined with Republicans to try and admonish this administration from trampling the separation of powers and the privacy rights of citizens. Democrats claim to be the party for the little guy yet they support tyranny over individual rights and complete dispassion for citizens whose rights are being eroded daily.

Big federal government was considered a danger by our forefathers because they knew it would assume more power and control than it was granted. They understood that government unchecked would evolve and grow like a bacteria insinuating itself into every organic opportunity to become not just an arbiter but the controlling power.

Democrats love to play the victim and propose more government, more laws and more regulation as the fix to all the perceived unfairness in the world. Gullible and compassionate Americans accept the Democrats false premise that a government program or policy will help save citizens from fate and folly. Not only is their big government solution a scam, but the so-called inequity it pretends to fix is a swindle.

Does it make sense to anyone that Obamacare that was foisted on the American public to supposedly create lower health insurance costs and more equity in coverage has instead made it less affordable? Isn’t it proof enough that government programs are more spoilers than saviors when Americans have seen their old more affordable coverage replaced with unwanted provisions, see their policy deductibles increase the cost to patients and discover that their doctors and hospitals are no longer affiliated with their coverage?

Isn’t it proof enough that government makes the problem worse not better when we learn that the number of uninsured Americans remains the same or is even greater after Obamacare? Isn’t it typical bureaucratic insanity that Americans must pay a policy premium rate based on contraceptive coverage well past their child bearing age because the one size fits all coverage by the Democrats has zero flexibility?

Worse than all this, the Democrats shut down the government rather than to delay Obamacare but then when its rollout disaster threatened to damage the Democrat Party brand, King Obama waved his imaginary power wand and delayed it until after 2014 and then again until after 2016 in a blatant corrupt political move.

The Democrats have accused Republicans of not caring for the poor, middle class and the aged yet; Obamacare is killing full time employment. Obamacare is contracting business expansion. Obamacare has cut into Medicare, and it is they, the Democrat Party, not the Republicans that are throwing Grandma over the cliff.

Democrats lie with a straight pace of socialistic expediency. Democrats support our government spying and collecting data on law abiding citizens while they have the gall to finger point that social conservatives are the moral police. The Democrats tearless cries of injustice have been exposed, and all Americans, even those half politically awake, should see thru their shameful shams, their counterfeit concern, their  synthetic sincerity and mostly their premeditated power grab on your individual right to freedom.

The separation of powers is dying if not already mortally wounded and our nation needs patriotic Democrat voters, libertarians, independents and conservatives to coalesce around our Constitution and throw sedition out of office, everywhere it germinates.

TECHNOLOGY OR YOUR PRIVACY? HELL NO!

American rights have been assaulted once again by the discloser of data mining by the NSA with the White House arrogantly assuring us that their actions are legal and constitutional. Americans should have two reactions to this administration’s anti-American campaign to spy on citizens, one is Hell and the other is NO.

Is anyone else sick of our government’s complete underhanded secrecy on the one hand and abject ineptness on the other? The Russians handed the FBI the information on the Boston terrorist on a silver platter. They didn’t have spy for the information or eavesdrop on phone calls to find Tamerlan Tsarnaeva.  Worse, Tamerlan was not a United States citizen so the FBI can’t argue that they were helpless to charge him with a crime until he committed one.

The FBI should have deported Tamerlan Tsarnaeva based on his extremists views and at the very least kept him under surveillance and let the local Boston police in on this potential terror suspect. However, the FBI did none of these things and Americans families suffered losing loved ones and limbs thanks to their PC correct; no jihad threat to see folks.

It was this administration’s DHS that granted the Tsarnaeva family asylum. It was this administration that ignored the warnings from Russia. It was this administration’s FBI that failed to give the local Boston police the information that may have saved lives.

Oh but spying on Americans and data mining our phone records in the interest of finding terror plots is suppose to make us feel warm and fuzzy that our government is protecting America?

Which is it? Are we at war with jihad or is this a police action against terror? Obama wants it both ways. Which is it? Is this an unconstitutional breach of law enforcement spying on private citizen’s phone logs or a suspension of the Bill of Rights while we are at war with jihad? Either way Americans say “Hell No”.

If we lose our liberty because of terror threats than the Muslim terrorists have won already. The Patriot Act was not intended to give the federal government “Big Brother” omnipotent power. Now that it has been revealed that this is exactly how it is being abused by our government then it is time to seek repeal of the Patriot Act by both sides of the political aisle.

Some have suggested that if one doesn’t want the government to spy on you, then don’t access the internet, don’t use your cell phone and I guess we would also add, don’t make a salary (IRS target) and don’t see a doctor when you’re sick (Obamacare). NO, technological progress does not mean a waiver of your inherent right to privacy. Just because technology makes it easier for government to data mine information on citizens does not make it legal, constitutional or moral!

The Fort Hood shooter, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan is another example of the Political Correct numbness of officials in authority refuses to exercise their common sense and recognize a terror threat peculating in front of their noses. This Army psychiatrist was spewing praise for suicide bombers to American troops and the military brass looked the other way. He was communicating with Anwar al-Awlaki the American born terrorist Obama killed in Yemen without a trial that his administration claimed incited terrorism like the Fort Hood killer.

Which is it? Did Anwar al Awlaki incite Hasan to commit workplace violence or terrorism? Which is it? Did you drone kill a terrorists or a criminal? If you drone killed a terrorists that incited a terrorist then why is the Fort Hood massacre still called a workplace domestic incident and not a terror attack?

Which was it? Was Benghazi a protest caused by a video or a terror attack? Which truth was it? Did the President call it an act of terror immediately at the Rose Garden, or was the fog war making it unclear and the President, Hillary Clinton and Susan Rice were misled by bad intelligence?

This administration has been standing on its head while turning our country upside down against our Bill of Rights, traditional values and common sense. Stop allowing the government to pretend that invading our liberty is necessary to keep us safe.

Obama and the Democrats need to understand who the real enemy of America is,and it is not the Tea Party, conservatives, Libertarians, Patriots, Constitutional educators, traditional Americans, or JFK Democrats. It is not Christians, Jews or law abiding atheists. It is not soldiers returning from war, or legal immigrants assimilated and studying to be citizens or newly sworn citizens that respect America’s constitution.

Stop pretending that it is politically incorrect to “profile” those traveling or immigrating to the United States from countries ripe with extremist Muslim radicals but okay to “target” God fearing Americans that reject your socialist, big government policies.

Americans know who the enemy is. Americans know it is possible to thwart terrorism while keeping our Constitution respected and upheld. Americans know that yes we are in a war, against a caliphate, against Muslim religious fascism that will not rest until it dominates the world.

Americans are not the enemy! Using the social media the internet or the cell phone is neither a crime nor a waiver of American’s right to not have our government seize our records, read our e-mails or spy on us.
If Obama’s government cannot use technology responsibly and within our constitutional rights then we should make our government communicate by carrier pigeons.

Americans have the right to use our modern world with all its modern conveyances and still be assured that our rights are not trampled by big government statist that spy, lie and say trust us. Hell NO!
