SELLING SHRILL SLANDER GLOBALLY

The NAACP was formed as an opposition power to racism along as an advocacy group for the minority voice in the beginning of the 20th century. Its goals, aims and accomplishments to defend the equitable treatment of minorities by working within the framework of both the legal system and the media are laudable.

In fact the NAACP for over a century has been viewed by all Americans as an advocacy group that consistently adhered to its primary mission of equality and was considered an apolitical organization committed to fairness.

However, a few decades before the close of the 20th century the NAACP found itself the subject of hypocrisy and racism. It decided to align itself with the Democratic Party and be used as another arm of the left wing to get out the vote in support of only Democratic candidates.

Worse, even though the group had been helped to exist by being funded heavily with money and influence by the Jewish community there is a growing anti-Semitic voice in the Black community that has not been condemned enough by this organization.

The problem with any group hijacked for a political purpose is that it quickly loses both credibility and integrity to its basis for formation. Loyalty to an apolitical principle vanquishes when any group aligns its loyalty to political allies. Those allies receive immunity and protection from a group creating hypocrisy because the finger pointing is no longer based on objective righteousness but instead used to attack political opponents.

The idea that the NAACP could charge the Tea Party Movement as being racists with no proof while remaining conspicuously silent on Obama’s 20 year relationship with a known racist’s agitator in Reverend Wright illustrates the complete fraudulentness of the group today.

Another important lesson dispositive of why all political action groups end up ultimately collapsing and imploding their own credibility is “rebellion without a cause”, or not knowing when to quit.

Too many special interest groups formed for an honorable purpose, work hard to achieve their intended goals, succeed but then do not disband. As a result of this lust for activism with their cause achieved they cling to relevancy by trying to relive their past nostalgia by becoming shrill. Shrill by using histrionic comparative of real moral transgressions of the past to current day political petty ideological pander.

Sadly, your parent’s NAACP just like your parent’s Democratic party has been taken over by radical left wing political ideologues intent on fomenting an ingrained sense of Wright’s “goddamn America”.

For the NAACP to compare the current voter ID laws as being even remotely connected to a time predating the passage of Civil Rights when discrimination existed mocks themselves as much as it negates America’s progress from its prejudicial past.

To add insult to injury the NAACP has decided to take this argument of discrimination of Photo Id voting laws to the theater of the absurdity and inanity namely the United Nations Human Rights Council. If ever there was a synonym phrase for collective hypocrisy the United Nations would be on the shortest list.

For the NAACP or any other American political group to make requests or petition to the United Nations Human Rights Council regarding our election laws is an abomination. Especially when we know membership on this counsel includes countries like Saudi Arabia that discriminates against women.

We all know that the United Nations has no legal jurisdiction over America's election laws and therefore the only conclusion one can draw for why the
NAACP has chosen to request an affirmation by the United Nations Human Rights Council that photo ID laws are discriminatory is to get validation to argue that American laws are racists in the court of world public opinion.
Trying to utilize an international organization to wrestle with fundamentally domestic issues is a disturbing trend of the radical left. Seeking the approval or the condemnation of American laws made by, for and of the people by arguing their immoral value to international organizations is ultra un-American and fodder for our enemies “Great Satan” image propaganda.

By the very nature of its undertaking the NAACP has proven itself to be an organization that not only seeks to keep racism alive but transform it to an absurd level of victimhood. Proving your identity and eligibility to vote in America has absolutely nothing to do with racism but everything to do with halting the rampant fraud in our election process.

Instead of trying to heal the nation from the racial wounds of an ugly historical past this organization and other left-wing organizations continue to foment a paranoia of discrimination conspiracy using political soapboxes both in and now, outside the United States.

All Americans understand that it is healthy and in fact civic minded to argue and debate government laws regulations and policies however those differences of opinion internally should never be a aired in international forum.

Leaving aside that the photo ID law requiring voters to prove their eligibility is an extreme stretch of the imagination to call it discriminatory why is the NAACP taking this discussion to a world stage? Why is it NAACP running to the United Nations? What does international law have to do with state election laws?

Most Americans rightfully believe that insulting America by an American in a foreign country is wrong disrespectful and highly inappropriate. It bespeaks cowardice and extreme disloyalty to badmouth your country from another country.

Equally running to the United Nations to seek their approval of condemnation of our sovereign laws goes beyond disrespect, beyond disloyalty, beyond inappropriate, beyond legitimate political debate and into the realm of anti-American antagonism.

It is perplexing and disturbing that American special interest groups seem to be operating with such a rogue mentality that they fail to understand that their very existence and the freedom to exercise myopic viewpoint is guaranteed by the very country they seek to condemn.

Does the NAACP believe that it might have a stronger argument if Saudi Arabia agrees with it regarding the photo ID law? Will our American justice system be persuaded by the Human Rights Council of the United Nations or any international authority outside the United States as rational argument to strike down American laws?

Patriotic Americans are increasingly frustrated with a liberal minority that seeks to undermine our Constitution, Bill of Rights and our nation's sovereignty. Seeking United Nations approval for any actions be they about war or our domestic laws is intolerable.

The liberal left continues to prove itself to be unpatriotic, anti-American,
selfishly contemptuous, lip-service loyal, politically unbridled, agenda driven to retain power attain power and to suck the power out of the United States Constitution.

PHEW PEW FINALLY A POLITICAL STAT CONSERVATIVES ALL KNEW

Recently the Pew Research Center conducted a study to determine the political party knowledge of voters by a 13 question quiz. They requested the voter’s party affiliation, their age and their educational background.

First Pew established that Republicans were more knowledgeable about political parties than liberals regardless of their formal education. Two the study found that Republicans were more open to criticism than their liberal counterparts. Three the study found that liberals only enjoy the company of other liberals while they banish friends that do not agree with their political views.

The results were not really surprising to conservatives who have long known that being a conservative comes with the price of being marginalized by the left-wing controlled education and media establishments.

Conservatives have been painted by liberals in an aggressive long standing erroneous campaign of character attack by the Democratic Party. They have painted the opposition Party members as dumb, (Hillbilly under-educated) obstinate, (religious zealots) and judgmental (moral police).

Therefore although the results may anger liberals who are more likely to castigate the study as bunk, conservatives know the ring of truth in the study’s findings based on the many antidotal experiences they have had with friends and family.

Why is there such disparity between the two political party views that transcends from a differing opinion into a character distinction over the realm of knowledge, self-examination and acceptance of opposing viewpoint?

Let’s talk about the finding by the Pew Research Center that shows that Republicans are more open to criticism.

Independent thinkers are taught to not fear the truth and to keep their minds open or otherwise truth becomes both elusive and self-serving. Many traditional stories and adages teach children that reliance on information un-sourced and un-substantiated is no more than a fools truth and or belief. Equally truth is as easily misinformed en mass as it can at times rest only with a few.

Americans were once routinely taught not to believe the so-called truth of gossip, hysteria, popular opinion, or even the rationalizations of their own egos when it comes to seeking the truth.

Conservatives believe that if the foundation of an argument is capricious, weak or contains dubious facts then as critical thinker you must acknowledge the feebleness of your opinion and concede it to be unsettled.

Liberals argue using antidotal evidence, theory, popular opinion, government statistics, and the views of influential people as factually proof that they were feed to believe in our educational institutions. Knocking down those beliefs is considered an affront to their core creed of their liberal religion.

Conservatives separate religion from politics when it comes to debating a political issue yet conservatives know that religion and moral conscience teaches you can never separate your character and values.

The third finding of the Pew Research shows that liberals need to flock together. Why? Well if you viewpoint is filled with flaws and you can’t defend it with intelligent argument you resort to the safety of like-minded fools. You also run away from sane arguments in order to avoid introspection that might find you wrong when you want desperately to save your delusional world view.

Conservatives don’t abandon friends and family just because they hold a different or wayward view. That is because they are secure in their point of view knowing it is based on facts and reality not theory and postulation. They are truth seekers willing to follow the truth to where it leads.

There is a reason that as citizens age they become more conservative in their opinions and it is not just that
they are afraid of the retribution of the after-life, but rather that experience teaches them the truth and the folly of liberal ideas. Ideas based on falsehoods never stand the test of time.

Many conservatives know that a large portion of the Occupy Wall Street crowd will age, pay taxes (we hope) and grow up to moderate their childish, selfish and myopic baseless viewpoint. Yes there will be a portion of those that will be recalcitrant and become the “established” left-wing activist of the future like Bill Ayers.

Yet, like everything in life you cannot rid society of all its “useful idiots”. There are fools born every day as the saying goes but we always know that reality and truth is powerful. Experience will keep slapping you upside your head until you learn and there is no escaping common sense when it is staring you in the face and taunting you when you ignore it.

FACT FICTION OR STRANGER THAN BOTH

The Healthcare Bill is back in the news in a big way as its constitutional fate is now in the hands and minds of 9 American jurists. Yet, it brings back a flood of images from its birth in 2009 to what might be its death in 2012.
Fact or fiction Obamacare was passed by the House and Senate as normal legislation and Bills become law?
Answer, strange!  Obamacare went from the House to Senate where the Senate made changes and sent the Bill to Committee. Committee made more changes and sent it back to the House. The House was supposed to vote aye or nay on those changes and if it passed House it should have returned to the Senate for final vote on the revised Bill.
Then if passed by the Senate it would need to return to House for final vote to become law. It never went back to the Senate floor for a vote.
Why? Nancy Pelosi looked at the Senate and committee’s revisions to the Bill and changed the wording of original House Bill to comport with the Senate claiming they were all of a budgetary nature. She then announced that because they were strictly cost differences she was going to not send the Bill back to the Senate but instead use a provision in the Budget Act of 1974 called Reconciliation. That parliamentary provision was intended to speed up the legislative procedure of Bills that were accepted by both bodies of Congress but hung up on small accounting differences and nothing more. The Healthcare Bill was neither a popular Bill nor a Bill that was only debated for its budgetary discrepancies.
Fact or fiction Obamacare was read by members of Congress before they passed the Bill?
Answer stranger still! No member of either body has read the Healthcare Bill before passage but worse no member can read the Healthcare Bill because is not completely written. Obamacare gives Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius huge bureaucratic power to write rules and regulations in governance over both insurances providers and healthcare providers. Therefore it is still a work in progress.
Fact of fiction Obamacare has a mandate requiring all Americans to buy health insurance or be fined a penalty?
Answer stranger than strange. Yes Obamacare claims that this penalty is not a tax or a mandate but an incentive without criminal prosecution if Americans ignore the fee. However, to the 50 States of the union who do not accept Obamacare they will be permanently shut off of Federal funds for Medicare in which the federal government will yet continue to force state citizens to pay in FICA contribution. In essence, if you don’t implement Obamacare the federal monies you paid for to fund the sick and elderly with be held hostage.
Fact or fiction ObamaCare’s Secretary writes provisions that violate the 1st Amendment?
Answer turn and face the strange. Yes the forcing of faith based healthcare providers like Catholic Hospitals to pay insurances premiums that support contraception, sterilizations and abortions without recognizing a moral exemption is the State interfering with religious liberty. Everyone knows that purveyance is support and the Church is being forced to have its healthcare dollars directed to the support of abortions which they equate as a sin equal with murder. Equally the poor who have religious objection to their health insurance policy funding abortion would be forced to choose no insurance coverage or Obamacare leaving them a discriminated choice.
Fact or fiction if Obamacare is held to be constitutional then the government would be able to control  by a broad expansion of Commerce Clause every aspect of the citizen’s life altering our limited Federal power, States Rights and individual liberty heretofore guarantees?
Answer estranged. Indeed if the court ruled Obamacare was constitutional and both the Congress and the people accepted that ruling as the final word then such would be the end of our Republic. However that would assume that the Supreme Court is the final arbiter that would then exhaust remedy for the people. That would be incorrect.
Repealing Obamacare would not make the precedent of the court ruling go away. The people still would have two courses of peaceful action. One is nullification by the States to refuse to agree with the Constitutionality of Obamacare and the court’s ruling forcing the Federal government to back down. Another petition to the court from the people might result in a Supreme Court reversal but even if it did not it would muddy the water for a future Congress to proceed with an open ended Commerce clause precedent.
Two, an amendment to the Constitution ratified by the States that limits the Commerce Clause, Necessary and Proper Clause to not only make Obamacare no longer constitutional but to set a future constraint on Congress and the Supreme Court.
The other options are perhaps not so peaceful but still promoted by our forefathers in that ultimately it is neither the Supreme Court, Congress nor the Executive Branch that has authority over the people but the other way around. We the people give legitimacy to our government and we the people are the final arbiters of its legitimacy.
The idea that in order to resolve a financial cost burden in healthcare many Americans are willing to assign the federal government dictatorial power over the people would be considered too improbable a premise for a fiction novel.

Yet that is the fact that Americans are facing today as we await the Supreme Court ruling. Making myself and the majority of Americans feel like strangers in the land of the free!

Every government degenerates when trusted to the rulers of the people alone.
The people themselves are its only safe depositories."

AMERICANS PATRIOTS ARE SITUATIONAL AWARE

The liberals in Congress along with many special interest groups (ACLU) had temper tantrums over George Bush and the Patriot Act. The claim was that even in the wake of trying to thwart terrorism the rights of citizens should not be infringed upon by Big Brother government.
Yet the Obama administration has not only supported the Patriot Act his Department of Homeland Security has extended spying on Americans.

Many conservatives worried that provisions in the Patriot Act were problematic to the notion of unfettered intrusion of privacy by federal officials and the precedent it would set against the Fourth Amendment.
The conservatives have always been wary that our government officials given the broad power to spy on so-called terrorists suspects without a warrant would branch out to invade the privacy of citizens based on political rivalry.
Conservatives want terrorists caught before they can carry out murderous plots against American citizenry but they equally want assurances of federal restraint to protect First Amendment rights.
Americans have learned that the Department of Homeland Security has been monitoring social sites (Twitter, Facebook, Drudge Report, Hulu) on the internet since 2010 claiming the need to “collect information used in providing situational awareness and establishing a common operating picture” for government officials.
Huh? Does that make sense? Nobody knows what “situational awareness” means?  Does it mean that federal officials are so computer illiterate then don’t know what a hash tag means?
Does it mean that given the government’s penchant for long unintelligible writing officials need to learn to be witty writers under a twitter 140 character limit?
Exactly what “situation” can the Huffington Post or the Drudge Report provide “awareness” to the Homeland Security officials charged with protecting us from attack? Are we not already in the mainstream media subjected to editorial terrorism?
The truth is that that our government is already “Big Brother” while the liberal media has become their controlled puppet.
Remember the uproar when the Obama administration refused to claim that we were at war with terrorism instead calling it a police action. What’s the difference? In a war you have clearly defined enemies that are not citizens unless it is a civil war. In a police action the enemy is not defined but includes anyone that violates the law.
The CIA and the FBI were looking for chatter from the enemy terrorists under Bush while the Homeland Security Department under Obama is reading the Twitter feed and the Drudge report?
The silence of the liberal media about Obama’s use of the Patriot Act points again to the one word that delineates the ideological difference between liberals and conservatives; hypocrisy.
Conservative Americans have always been skeptical of big government over individual liberty understanding the danger of excessive federal power.
The liberals on the other hand only use Fourth Amendment arguments against conservative leadership (Bush)
while becoming deafly silent about government spying done by their messiah of Marxism. (Obama)
All Americans should be outraged that Homeland Security is spying on America’s social network sites. Do they really believe that a terrorist will get on twitter with the hash tag #terrorists and expose their sleeper cell identity?
Are terrorists watching television shows and marking their favorites on Hulu in a secret cryptic message system or using the “like” on facebook to send code to others about a terrorist plot?
The only “situational awareness” at work here is that the government is spying on Americans with the same lame justification they use at the TSA for patting down children and old ladies at the airport.
We all know that there is no privacy in America today between car’s black boxes and smart phones even the Amish are traced and tracked by checking accounts and social security numbers.
However, we have never believed beyond the potential of our federal government becoming a police State directly violating the privacy rights of citizens until this new revelation of DHS.
More than ever conservative and independent Americans need to demand accountability of our government to the Bill of Rights. More than ever “We the People” must not allow federal government to intimidate us as we exercise our public protests while the government spies on us.
We cannot be afraid to voice our criticism of a government drunk with power especially when our elected Representatives ignore our Bill of Rights.

Let them come. Let them watch. Let them listen. Let them know. They might be watching us but “We the people” are “situational aware” that we have the power not them.
Our Constitution is more than a piece of paper the liberal left continually tries to distort and destroy. It is an intangible treasure held close and intractable in every traditional American heart and soul!
I will not give up on this fight. I will not fade into the night. I am America.” (I am America by Krista Branch)

SOCIAL ISSUES ARE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY!

I am sick and tired of pundits and voters that “cling” to the false lies spewed by the liberals that Republicans will legislate morality and institute bans on free will and choice.
This a false narrative promulgated by Democrats that equate the overturning of Roe V. Wade as being the step (more apt leap) into women dying of “coat hanger abortions” by claiming that if States don’t fund abortion then poor women will self-abort.
They claim if States are not forced to fund abortion then most States will make abortion illegal and ergo take away all women’s right to choose options in her pregnant condition.
If there is free choice for a woman to abort then there should be free choice for women who do not support abortion to not have their taxpayer dollars used against their moral objections.
Clearly if government decided to supply State prisoners with pornographic magazines using taxpayer money Democrats would be up in arms claiming it would be morally reprehensible to have female taxpayers footing the bill for the exploitation of women.
The NOW organization would be the first to decry the practice as an abomination against women’s rights. Yet, this same organization has zero empathy for conservative women who do not wish their taxpayer dollars to be used to fund abortions under the same grounds of moral objection.
Not only is this a false premise the complete opposite is true. It is the Democrats that are intruding on the rights of pro life taxpayers to morally object to their tax dollars being spent on a morally reprehensible promotion.
There are many ways to resolve the issue of a women’s right to choose while preserving a citizen right to retain conscientious objection. One way is to use the Public Campaign Finance model as a way to bridge the gap.
On our Federal income tax 1040 form it asks whether you as a taxpayer are willing to donate a $3 dollars for Presidential election campaign fund. Why can’t States ask taxpayers to donate to an Abortion/contraceptive fund for welfare recipients?
This money then would be raised and used by those without moral objection to abortion. State’s  could be required to put the money in escrow and  only used for this specific purpose (abortion) while collecting interest to be rolled over year to year to keep the money available to those who qualified for the need.
Taxpayers now would not be forced to financially support abortion, while taxpayers in support of abortion could contribute their money with their opinion.
This is just one example of common sense solution to a contentious social issue facing the country. Democrats are fond of saying they are the party that protects freedom of choice, a lie while they accuse Republicans as the party wishing to enact morale bans on personal behavior, a damn lie.
The hypocrisy of suggesting that only socially liberal Democrats are awarded freedom of choice and all those that morally disagree are out in the cold. Moreover the demonizing of the religious right as being hell-bent on passing laws to criminalize moral behavior is a sham and a ginned up scare tactic by the left.
Conservatives want government out of the social issues while Democrats have used their over-reaching interpretation of our Constitution to interfere with long held moral values in American society.
The Democrats are under our beds! The Democrats are in our children’s heads. The Democrats are in our kitchens. The Democrats are in our cars. The Democrats are in our kid’s lunchboxes. The Democrats are in our churches. The Democrats are in ALL our social issues! That’s what social programs mean!
This is the party that wants big government to tell you (mandate) what to buy, what to eat, what to think about moral issues, what to be allowed to say (political correct) and most importantly take away all individual rights and private ownership.
The Democrats have been encroaching on our liberties for half a century and yet Americans are being duped to believe that the Republican Party is the threat because they support religious freedom, pro-life morality, limited laws and regulations, separation of powers, fidelity to constitutional protected rights and a Federal government that stops dictating to State government.
It is the Democratic Party that undermines our 1st and 2nd Amendment not the Republicans. It is the Democratic Party proselytizing and dictating their sexual social views on church institutions denying religious freedom.
What rational common sense American can’t see that Democrats big government intrusion on everyone’s personal liberty to choose individually is what this culture war in America is all about?

I am an American, so don’t tell me Democrats what to buy. I am an American so don’t tell me Democrats how much salt, sugar or pork fat I can eat! I am an American, so don’t tell me Democrats what words I cannot say! I am an American so don’t tell me Democrats what car I can drive! I am an American, so don’t tell me Democrats what light bulbs I can screw into my lamps! I am an American, so don’t tell me Democrats what I can pack in my child’s lunchbox! I am an American, so don’t tell me Democrats that I must pay for the deceased previous owner’s pollution on property I purchase! I am an American, so don’t tell me Democrats that I must pay for union pensions when I don’t have one! I am an America so don’t tell me Democrats what my moral views should be on any social issue!
I am an American that wants the dictating Democrats out of my business, my home, my children’s school, my church and my life period!
I will not cede my rights by voting for Democrats but prefer to seed the Republican Party with new blood that respects my individual right to have government out of my life, liberty and pursuit of happiness!

NOT THE ECONOMY STUPID!

Those that think that the 2012 election is about the American economy as the sole overarching issues of import are not only blind to the political reality but show their self-possessed issue orientated careless civic responsibility.

Never before has America’s Constitution been more under siege.

Never before has the Country’s debt been more burdensome on posterity.

Never before has half the Country’s population been non-taxpaying.

Never before has the Country’s law enforcement agencies openly admitted
spying on Americans on social network sites.

Never before has the Country gone this long without passing a Federal budget.

Never before has the Country seen an administration so hostile to both foreign allied countries and its own citizens on the opposing political fence.

Never before has the Country experienced an administration that openly mocks the power of Congress by making cabinet appointment without Senate consent.

Never before has the Country seen its Justice Department complicit in arming drug thugs in another country for the political purpose of undermining the 2nd Amendment.

Never before has the Country seen a federal government with a cadre of Czars not answerable to Congress or the people.

Never before has the Country experienced a Healthcare and Financial Bill that contains so many tentacles of regulatory power that it threatens the whole notion of private enterprise.

Never before has the Country experienced an edict by a President that openly challenges their 1st Amendment rights of free exercise of religion.

Never before has the Country experienced an entrenched media bias that wishes to propagandize for the President while American citizens are purposefully misled.

Never before has the Country seen a president in the White House that openly preaches distorted truth, re-writes the historic meaning of our founded Republic, disparages America while in foreign countries and is a pathological ideologue.

This election is not about the economy and the unemployment numbers.

This election is about America’s survival as a financially solvent, constitutionally sound and intact Republic currently under siege by the President and his Democratic Party minions.

All Americans regardless of whether they call themselves Independent, Republican, Democrat or Libertarian should clearly see that the future of our Nation is at stake.

There should be no excuses that you did not know. There should be no claims of special interest rationale. There should be no mistaking that this election is the crossroad for the future of America.

What did you do for your Country? How did you vote for your Country? What America did you leave your children? Did you leave them a Country that you were proud to hand over to them?

LET THEM PLAY IT OUT!

The conservative battleground in the primary has been playing out like a football playoff game. Anybody who regularly watches the NFL is aware that the Pittsburg Steelers were favored to beat the Denver Broncos in the first round of the AFC title playoff game.

Moreover in the NFC the top seated Green Bay Packers were considered a shoe in to be in the Super Bowl. Yet, despite these teams being better on paper than their opponents they went on to defeat rather than victory.

Only the New England Patriots survived their top seated placement in the AFC surprising their loyal fan base that worries then and now about a shaky defense can’t hold a close game lead. It is arguable that the Baltimore Ravens lost their opportunity to beat the Patriots not just because of the inexcusable missed punt but because they fail to make the plays they needed to win.

Romney has been talked up as the frontrunner in the primary by all the pundits declaring that he and he alone will be able to beat Obama and win a plurality of delegates both in the primary and in the general election.

Gingrich was thought to be the underdog that would be forced to drop out long before Perry, Cain and Bachman because of a laundry list of reasons.

Like those picking odds in football the quarterbacks, player matchups and coaching are all analyzed by the sports world to make one team the favorite and the other team the underdog in the Super Bowl.

Green Bay, New Orleans and Pittsburg were all favorites yet they all lost showing once again that no matter how expert and logical may be your opinion you never know who wins until the game is played.

There are just four GOP candidates left to battle in the States vying for 2488 delegates. To date prior to the Florida primary a total of only 58 delegates have been parsed out among the candidates. The Primary will essentially be called when any candidate receives 1,144 or more to claim a victory.

Florida has 50 delegates up for grabs and if Romney had won Iowa and South Carolina a number of political pundits were surprisingly suggesting that he would be crowned not only the front runner but all other candidates should concede.

Once again the so-called expert odd makers are as wrong about elections as football. Romney not only lost South Carolina to Gingrich he lost Iowa to Santorum. New Hampshire has 10 delegates; Iowa has 24 and South Carolina 23 with some states being awarded bonus delegates for a number of reasons such as voting for a Republican governor last election.

However the delegate award is different in different States with some States like Florida being a winner takes all while other States are splitting their delegates. The point being Romney is currently not the front runner and even if he wins Florida he will still be far from a delegate count that presumes him victory.

Sports odd makers and analysts make their living talking about teams and making their picks to win a game based on their knowledge yet unlike political pundits they know that ultimately their expertise means nothing.
The game must be played on the field.

Political pundits however are far more arrogant and infective of the primary process when they spew their predictions. They are trying to influence the vote, discourage the upset, peddle their choice to the public and manipulate the electorate’s desire to vote for a winner.

The South Carolina primary was dispositive of three major changes in the “Party politics as usual” that tries to corral the public into the pen of the Party’s choice for a nominee.

One, it simply did not work. Their so-called “electable” candidate was soundly rejected by Carolinians. Two, the GOP pundits had help from an equally corrupt political influence peddler, the liberal press that threw old dirt in the air on Gingrich days before the ballot. South Carolinian’s said “who cares?”

Three, one of the biggest changes that the Tea Party Movement has made in the political world has been in educating the voter. This electorate is smarter, savvier and refuses to be told whom to support and whom to reject by the GOP, the Press or even each other.

The public understands that in the primary this is their only opportunity prior to the general election to support and vote for their candidate. They are rightfully ignoring the electability pessimism prediction.

Romney has not received the most delegates so far but has received the most endorsements by GOP party elites. Endorsements have always been debated as to their effectiveness in winning over voters. They seem to be of dubious value when coming from outsiders not running and have only marginal success from those who drop out early in a race.

Endorsements seem only to have success when the primary tightens up and a popular candidate decides to drop out and throw their support to the current leader. We are far from any concession speeches by any of the four remaining candidates.

Romney, Gingrich, Santorum and Paul have yet to win or lose anything close to a right to claim victory or a need to concede. Even after the Florida winner- take- all 50 delegates primary that will change the current leader board whoever wins cannot claim anything more than being 50 delegates richer.

The remaining primary candidates have many States races to win and many other hurdles such as fund raising and organizational issues to contend with but electability is not among those obstacles. All four candidates are as electable as they continue to gather delegates or not.

Obama was never considered the frontrunner early on in the Democratic
primary race of 2008 instead Hillary Clinton was the presumptive candidate to beat and we all know how that expert political pundit prediction turned out.
